Welcome back Aldo. Brilliant to see you about again, massive congratulations to you on your marriage and bambino. The SID isn't a bad device: www.ukecigcabin.com/product/smoktech-sid-vv-mod-batteryThough I know you like the high end gear, just thinking of your pocket with the commitments you have now.

uhmm.. thanks for all the opinions so far and the warm welcome (back) I'm in a tight spot: do you think it is worth to invest in a mechanical mod + evolve kick 2, or go straight to a VV/VW device without any more fuss (the likes of a Provari/Vamos/eVic/SID???)? Regarding the tank/carto/liquid recipient, it would be cool that it was all sold in the same place, because having to order from 2 or 3 international stores is a big mess for me. I will buy liquid from Vape Escape as previously stated. If all the other parts I need could be bought from there AND one more store that would be perfect. fortunately I have no financial problems and can put some money into this, especially because I have made quite some savings from quiting smoking + leaving gym and making an home-gym ! thank you all again for all the help. I'm sorry for being such a pita, but I wanted to order asap and I don't have the time to go through it all alone, hence why I'm trying to gather as much information as possible in one place only (this forum) cheers

The Vamo V5 has an easy menu system, but is probably not as well made as the Innokin device. You might also consider the Innokin SVD, or if you like box mods the Innokin VTR.

@aldo, that is indeed the Vamo - but not sure if that one is the cheaper chrome version or Stainless steel

Aldo,
Welcome back and congratulations on your marriage and baby. Do we get to see more pics????
The consensus on the Provari seems to be to wait until the new year before purchasing, simply because there may well be a VV/VW version in the pipeline.
The Vamo is a good mod, although not the most attractive piece of kit. I have a couple of them and they are pretty robust. I'm not afraid to take them out of the house, unlike my Provari which stays on my computer desk...

Well, I noticed that this portuguese store has a lot of devices which have been mentioned here before, so I'll stick to it and get my device from there (faster and cheaper - p&p wise at least). I've also come to a point where I decided that right now I need a VV/VW ready device. I'm just deciding between the MiniProvari + Ext. Cap ; Inokkin iTaste 134; Inokkin iTaste MVP; Vamo V5; Joye EVIC! As far as the "tanks" are concerned I'm looking at this two, but still dunno what to get Vivi Nova; Inokkin Iclear 16; I'll get some Boge LR cartos, just in case... I'll also get some e-liquid from there to get going asap and then proceed to order from VapeEscape the liquids and one of them rebuildables (which?) soooo... what do you gurus have to say about this?

Before my time Aldo but welcome back, but don't you dare go back to the 'fags' especially as you've got someone who is now totally depending on you. I personally don't give a flying **** on the latest gizmo, I just want something that works and doesn't cost 'an arm and a leg'. BTW... your English is great, better than some of my 'natural' neighbours!

Hi Lynda I might set myself on a device that isn't the Provari because of what you just said, because it is the most expensive out of them all and only the Mini is available. The VAMO isn't attractive, I agree, but it is also the cheaper of them and I will mostly vape in home. (and to be honest, I know I'm going to spend a lot more as time goes by and I get excited with mods etc) happy to see many of the "old-timers" are still around and remain as kind as before !

HI friends, I decided to get a cheap kit atm to get going, just haven't decided yet between the Vamo and the eVic.. I couldn't yet understand if the eVic is a Variable Voltage or a Variable Wattage device? It seems to be VV but in some pictures the led appears with a W in it which leads me to think it is VW too? or is it just a "reader" functionality to measure resistances or something? I'll take some more time after to really take a look and feel the other devices to set myself on a good kit (GG/Provari/Genesis/wtv may pop up in the mean while I'm looking at you)
