Hi there, my name is Steve, I am a 53 year old cigarette addict, I have tried hypnosis, champix and zyban all to no avail, due to one reason or another (drug induced depression with one anti smoking tablet and a severe allergic reaction to the other). You may have noticed that I have not included willpower in this list; as, as far as nicotine is concerned I have NO willpower. Earlier this year I bought a Gamucci Micro Cartomizer and was amazed that I could free my self from the dreaded tobacco, I have since returned to tobacco after some 8 weeks, due to family/financial problems. I now want to buy a new nicotine delivery system and I am interested in any advice that you guys on the forum have with regards a good, to very good starter pack, as I am a little confused about Clearomizers, Spinners, Wicks and Drip Tips etc. I understand that some of the art of vaping is down to individual choice and taste but I need to know what I should be looking at as a good starting point. I can not run out of battery so at least two, one always on charge and one in use. What spares would you guys advise (clearomizers, spinners, wicks etc etc) I intend to purchase something tomorrow (pay day) after seeing what advice you can give, as I need to kick tobacco into touch as soon as possible. Sorry for the short notice and length of this post, but any advice would be gratefully received.

Hi Steve and a huge welcome to the forum. You've come to the right place for help though I'm not the best person to ask as I'm fairly new myself. A lot of people recommend this kit for starters: myepack.co.uk/kits/evod-starter-kit-ss-808.html Myepack are great vendors, really helpful and fast delivery too. You can also get spare heads for the evod tanks from them too. Lots of more knowledgeable folk will be along shortly with other ideas I'm sure!

Be careful to choose a good next day delivery option (Special Delivery) when ordering now if you want it quick (being so close to Christmas).
+1 For the starter kit and the vendor.

Hi and welcome! Thats a great starter kit Sal linked to and myepack are hard to fault. Keep your old evod heads, as they're easy to recoil-when you're ready. Make sure you get the right juice. I smoked 30-40 roll ups a day, and my original 12mg juice didn't cut it, I switched to 24mg and didn't touch another fag. I Didn't suffer any withdrawals neither. I wish you luck. Phil.

The heads have replacement wicks and coils inside, they last 2-3 weeks. The head fits inside the tank. The evod tank is where your magic juice goes.

Welcome sejI think you should look into something a bit "up" the Vaping ladder than *just* an eGo, evod or Riva starter kit. In relation to Gamucci; they are quite well known for being better for nicotine than some other products (I read it all somewhere once...) but small cartomizer kits are really not ideal, so don't feel too bad about not getting over the finishing line on the first go. I would bypass the plain evod kits and go straight in with something VV/VW. Maybe a 1 or 2 battery starter kit PLUS a mod or Vision Spinner. Given that I know the myepack products, how's about a mini protank kit (£19.99) a Vision Spinner (£17.99), 2 iClears and maybe one or two other things.

Hi Steve... Welcome. I'm no expert by any means, but I love my Spinners, have tried various clearos with very few problems, but have for now settled on the iClear16s. Have got through nearly 18 months 'fag free' and with no 'withdrawal' symptoms whatsoever. There are obviously far more advanced mods available, but for me, my set up works. The biggest stumbling block is finding the right juice for your taste. This may take some trial and error, but even if your first ones are not quite right, it still satisfies the hand to mouth addiction and blowing vapour, which was what I was obviously addicted to. Good luck... it will be worth it, and it's fun!

Welcome. +1 To vendor absolutely fantastic service. Evod tanks attach to the battery that will hold your juicethe heads are coils that screw into the the tank. The coil has some wick to soak up juice and wire coiled round the wick to heat liquid into vapour.
More experienced fellows will guide you more.
Good luck
Forgot to mention as you come of the stinkies your body will change ie taste buds might change so You may not get the full taste of your juice but go with it and it'll start getting better. Just remember your still getting nicotine just not the rest of the shitty chemicals that your system has adapted to

The suggested kit is a good place to start - far better than the ciga like kits (e-lites, skycig, v2 cig etc.) because the batteries last far longer, you can easily and cheaply refill the clearomisers, and you will get a much better hit. You will probably find that you will need to charge each battery just once per day. You will also need to get some eliquid (juice) and I would suggest a couple of different 10ml tobacco ones to get going with. Depending on how much you currently smoke I would start with 18mg nicotine and adjust this up or down depending on how this satisfies your craving. The search for the ideal juice will be your ongoing quest, but don't expect it to be exactly like the fags that you are trying to give up. Don't worry if you can't completely pack in the fags to start with - just keep a count of the fags you have stopped smoking. I have to admit that even though I've been vaping for over six weeks, I still have one rollup at the end of each day. But it's better than the 20 a day I have smoked for the last 48 years.

Hi Steve, again! I think Chrissie has answered your question (Thanks Chrissie ) but it is all a bit confusing at first so don't be afraid to keep on asking if you don't get what we are on about - I know I did ALL the time when I started out on here. No one minds, everyone just wants to help you get the right kit for you and help on your journey to cig-freeness
