There's a discount code to use here www.vapercaper.co.uk/collections/complete-kits/products/innokin-itaste-mvp-kit-v2and you can get the mvp2 for like £35. I bought the svd one myself. As a fellow newbie I'd say get something half decent straight away, they're pretty easy to get the hang of anyway and there's loads of helpful people and info round here. No point messing about I reckon and you're talking about quitting a habit that has been costing you a fortune for years so even if you spend a reasonable amount it'll still be a win. Being a 40 a day smoker myself I find the 24mg does the trick, really kills the craving and it's like you feel strange not having a cig but then because the craving is taken care of the thought passes pretty quick. I bought some 18mg stuff because that was the strongest this particular shop had in this particular flavour but it's really not as good. Being one of those people that tends to jump right in though I also bought some nic base, the stuff that has the nicotine in it for mixing your own juices, so I'll add a tiny amount to raise the nic level. Well look at that, I've only been into this a couple of weeks and already I sound like I know what I'm on about!

Hi there! Like you I am a newbie- only joined the forum the other day ( see my post ....... Christmas newbie) I too have started vaping using an ego-ce4 kit. So far I am very happy with it apart from some issues with the battery not working occasionally and needing prising up a tad with a cocktail stick. Its an easy fix once you realize what is going on! I gather that I hey must only be screwed on lightly or this can happen.
I do fancy trying the red Astaire e juice and think I will get some samples as mentioned.
Good luck with your ego and quitting the cigs. Keep us posted on how you are getting on!

so good to hear that your OH is going to join you melly74 Tobacco flavours are difficult and taste is subjective. Perhaps a new thread asking will get you more replies though

@melly74the batteries will have a factory charge, so it's more than OK to use straight away If there is anything at all that you aren't sure about, please don't hesitate asking, know matter how daft the question may seem

Which would explain why the light is green lol All the stuff I read said 8 hours use for 20 mins then charge for another hour.
Right lemon or vanilla?

The batteries don't have any memory, so no need to even worry about fully charging them I'd go for vanilla first

Hi All, I am a moderate to heavy smoker and have smoked for 20 years I tried the cig like e cigs a couple of years ago and whilst they were good for the gig we were at I havent kept up on them. I need a cheap kit and some juice that doesnt need steeping lol ideally in a menthol flavour and some cherry/blackcurrant flavours what are your recommendations. Hello and welcome melly74. I bought an ego starter kit which completely did the trick for me and got me off the cigarettes completely. After alot of research and asking for help in vaping group and forums such as this one, I bought an itaste v3. I love this one because it has vv and vw control and it also tells you what the resistance of your atty is. As far as tanks go, I started with a CE4 then tried Evod's and now Aspire bdc which is the best I've tried. There's still alot I have to learn about vaping and I'm not into DIY yet but I have the bug now.
