Help vamo not working

hi,

my vamo has stopped working ?

it powers on etc shows wattage etc and seems normal other than there is no vapour.

its not the clearomiser as i have tried 3 and also had all 3 working on my mvp2.

Could it be i overtightened the iclear30   ????


any idea's

Try gently prising up the centre pin with a small screwdriver or point of a knife .. Being careful not to damage the rubber grommet
My Vamo needs this doing every now and then

Hold the right button(+) down for a few seconds, are you getting a resistance reading or does it say 9.9?
If it's 9.9 you need to as above with a small screwdriver. Mine needs a gentle prise out every few weeks.

What does the resistance say? If it is always Lo then you may well have overtightened the iclear, and pushed the grommet/washer down into the body of the vamo, or simply split it. Happening to a lot of us atm - I suspect the life of the thing is about 1 year. Have a look at reply 27 I used the grommet off an old nova head. Twice.

yes its 9.9

9.9 is saying there's no atty so like others have said try and raise the centre pin up on the vamo but go easy.

had that issue with mvp2 but this looks harder to do

Don't prise it too hard. More like a nudge from side to side, trying to lift a bit with each nudge.

Thanks all , all working now after lifting the centre pin.

felt I was being heavy handed with it.
was difficult to see if it actually moved or not but tried iclear30 and working fine.

it'll probably happen again though, as the rubber gromet softens over time & needs replacing.....easy fix though.
