I've had no problems at all with my Aspire BDC devices, all in glass. I'm using an Aspire Davide and a couple of Aspire mini vivi novas, and there's a couple of Aspire Vivi Novas under the Christmas tree (so Santa says).
Definitely a cooler vape than the iclear16, but I like that device as well - the heads never seem to need replacing even with no maintenance.

I'm having the same problem with all my BDCs - gone back to iClear 16 and 30s and mini protanks (had problems with big protanks as well) I have a love affair with the iclear 30. Very good. In fact thinking of stocking up on spares/them. BDC aspire for me a waste of time. Im with you regarding the iClear30. For me vape wise its the best yet. I only have 3 of them and I have 5 30S. I can't remember who it was, but a member was saying they got a metallic taste with the 30S and I'm getting the same too. They are fine with Red Astaire and Afro Dizziac...but every other juice tastes very metallic. With the original 30 everything tastes way better to me. Meanwhile I'm gonna soak all my 30S heads and leave them to dry and see if that improves things.

Much prefer the bdc's to the iclears. When the bdcs have been left for a few hours without vaping they do have a tendency to leak juice I've found. Blowing will just waste a load of juice, as I've said remove the bottom and clear the excess from the top of the coil. I find them less fiddly than the iclears.

I can't remember who it was, but a member was saying they got a metallic taste with the 30S and I'm getting the same too. It was me. I washed the offending carto/atty/wick thing (the replacement atomiser) and put in a fresh one. I vaped two tanks on the fresh one, then put the washed one back in (3 days later) and filled it up with a subtle fruit-flavoured juice. No bad taste at all. Fixed for now.

Haha yeah sorry I remember now.. That's good news cos I just opened 17 silver foils and dropped them all into soak. Gonna clean out the offending tanks tomorrow and try with the soaked heads.

Thanks guys... I really like the iClear 30s but I also really like the cooler vape from the bottom coils. Very few problems with my Mini Protanks, but wanted a bigger tank for my mods at home. Thought I'd give the Aspire BDC a go, but so far, not overly impressed with it Aspires are way overrated.

Dunno, I LOVE my Aspires. Having been a proper Protank fan, since getting my BDC's I haven't used a protank apart from as a back-up.
Yes, they do gurgle a bit if you either let the juice level drop too much, or not supply enough power to the coil, but up the wattage, or clean and refill, and it blows the Protank out the water.
I find it a much better vape than the iClear also, but then I did prefer the protank to the iClear anyway, so that's no surprise.
It takes a little more work than the iClear or the Protank, but, to me at least, it pees all over the pair of them.

Meanwhile I'm gonna soak all my 30S heads and leave them to dry and see if that improves things. The biggest problem I had with the Aspire BDC was on my provari when it was screwed down there was no airflow. On my SVD it wasn't such a problem as I screwed back on the vanity ring which has vent holes incorporated within the ring. I've never experienced any metal taste with the iclear 30s, though I worry about the poly tank as I want to try many juices. I wish I could get a pyrex for the iclear 30! That said I've not cracked a tank using citrus, Banana or any others. I still use the Aspire occasionally but get frustrated when the level of liquid starts to drop below that connection. I also find the draw is similar to toking on an empty coke can with a side hole in it. I've seen peeps recoiling the wicks on the iclear 30 but I don't want to bother (attempt it). I sorted the airflow by getting a 'Hippo'. The way I want to go is toward not needing to get new store coils or wicks for any of these devices. I think its a matter of personal preference and anyone starting out perhaps should experience both.

My Aspire BDC is one of the few bottom feeders that hasn't gurgled with me. I love it and it's replaced my Mini protanks as my tank of the month I always blow through when I refill, take out the drip tip and clean out the space at the top and give my battery connector a clean while I'm at it and so far it's been as good as gold. I also replace the head once a week which probably avoids a lot of leaking and gurgling.

Well after a load of rebuildables and protanks/davides/iclear30 I'm on a the good ole carto tank....sorted I have to admit, I am now through 8.0ml of "The Moors" (LT ecigs) in a carto tank. When it's gone, I'll miss it. Hopefully, I'll get another few juice runs from the tank before the dreaded plastic crack that is inevitable. Then it's onto the 3 x 45mm tanks on standby. PS, the Moors isn't just tobacco for anybody following the growing appreciation of this legendary liquid.

I have never used a Aspire but used a few big protanks and can only say I have never had an issue on my SVD or my Magneto I only change the heads when they are really duff and have used the original ones and one claimed to be original and again no issue or difference. I always strip the full tank down when cleaning and make sure its screwed together tight. Before fitting the bottom coil I always stick my finger nail between the runner seal and the contact pin and move it out a small amount . I might have been lucky but 2 big protanks and a unitank in my kit and not once has it gurgled . I have read that if your battery is starting to get low there can be some leaking tho ? I will be moving from Protanks soon to move onto big boys stuff and try to coil and wick my own. Thats my next plan and will be an RH Iatty as it looks the best to start off with ? (I HOPE ) LOL
