Better mods out there for the same money. Every lavatube I've had has failed (usually the button) I've had 6. These days the most use the remaining 1 I have is used as a battery checker. They are a damn fine battery checker mind

I'd go for the Zmax, SS, telescopic and less problems than the Vamo or Lavatube (not saying they're all perfect) just more reliable than the rest.

My Vammo has been submerged in water twice over the past year and after drying out it still works and been dropped loads best vv i have ever owned all for less than £30 delivered .

I've had a couple of Lavatube's Gaz . . . absolutely no issues with either of them. But the technology is a little dated compared to the newer devices around now. Personally I'd go for either a Vamo or a MVP2 . . . the ohms checking facility on both is very handy as is the Ego threading.
