Have you watched any episodes yet? Starts pretty funny and gets pretty dark in places as progresses. On last season now, one of best shows I've watched and I watch quite a few.
Have you watched game of thrones, resisted at first, but people kept telling me to watch it, gets really good, bit gory in places for the Mrs but great politics and they ruthlessly kill off lead characters very often which makes it unpredictable!

Wouldn't want to spoil it by watching a dodgy copy as my first viewing, it's never a good as your first time I agree. Hence why I DL'd HD with 5.1 surround. Things have moved on mate, not everything is videod with a cameraphone off a CRT telly... Yep things surely have.. There are plenty of sites now with lots of 4000HD material let alone 1080. (so i hear) But unless you are watching on anything above a 40" screen then most people will struggle to actually see a difference between a 720 and 1080. But there's an audio watermark called Cinavia that's becoming more prevalent on movies. If every studio adopt it bye bye piracy until someone cracks it. Just over two years now and the techies haven't found a way past it yet.

You seem to have the right hardware set up so it'd be a damn shame to not use it properly and always opt for the HD stuff.

There are some scenes in it that benefit from hd, but the story is so good that its not a deal breaker.

Why not just sign up for netflix first month free and watch it all on there, all 5 series are available now? If you decide to continue it's only £5.99 a month. Breaking Bad is brilliant, I watched it all over a couple of weeks. Might even watch it through again at some point Alternatively if you have a good internet connection and can connect your PC/Laptop to you TV you could go onto Iwatchonline.te and watch all the USA stuff from there, we always watch the Walking dead the day after it's aired in the States.

A couple of weeks!? Came in handy when I was feeling crap after the chemo lol! I've watched a few other full box sets too over the past few months! Would have watched it quicker if it wasn't for house work and cooking

I'm still happy with DVD so I'd save a few quid. So breaking bad, excellent series I recently watched them all back to back over a couple of weeks or so.
After breaking bad you need to seriously consider Dexter thats equally as good, about a blood spatter expert for the police who is a serial killer of bad guys who evade the law in his spare time.
Then once you've done Dexter theres Sons of Anarchy. It's about a biker gang in an American town. They're kind of bad guys and they run the town. Theres corrupt cops bad guys from rival gangs to contend with. Lots of sub plots, a very well mad series. Oh and Charlie Hunnam for the ladies, pfffft.

Or install a virtual p. network and you can watch many tv stations, series, films etc from the US. I often watch Hulu. I run a VPN with access to dozens of servers around the world. As said above also, its not like it used to be..all bad cams.

I Well spotted. I have been to busy on here lately to keep upto date. That said I actually meant a method that is commercially available. It's 3 months since that crack was reported and no software yet as far as I know. Still I also forget to add in my post that Cinavia is hardware or software dependent so the vast majority will not even know that the movie they watched even had Cinavia protection in the first place. Bad oversight on my part.
