After hearing good things about them on this fine forum, I've decided to try out the Innokin iclear 30. But I'm a bit confused, because I've come across 3 different versions that all seem to take different heads:the iclear 30, the iclear 30s and the iclear 30b. What are the differences between them and which is the best in your opinion?

the 30 is the original one, quite cheap to pick up now that there have been upgrades the 30s has the wicks enclosed in a metal tube the 30b has a bottom coil all very good IMO

I think I might go for the 30s because it's the only one with a crack-resistant tank, although I do prefer the design of the 30b. I'm going to try and resist the temptation to get both.....at least for a little while!

crack resistant? Doesn't the s use the same poly carbonate tank? Yep, Innokin say it's 'Fire' proof, and won't crack with the juices which crack tanks. I have a 30S and I must say the plastic tank is very thick...

Difficult to assess as I use the 30 ones and reading stuff online certain liquids will cause problems. I've not had any so far but live in fear LOL.

I just ordered a 30s and some spare heads so I'll report back when I've tried it out. Next on the shopping list: a little restraint.

I'm avoiding the 30b for the time being. I went for the 30s, but got a plain 30 this morning with my new MVP. It's easier to list what I don't have or have not used than the other way around.

Any reports of cracked tanks using Innokin polycarb tanks and which liquids because I'm using one liquid which many say causes problems and it seems fine...so far!

I've got a 30 and it's very good; from reports I've read the 30S is even better, but I would hang fire on the 30B for now - there was a recent thread about problems with it YERTIZ
