The first session I had with my 3.1 (microcoil & cotton as per Super-Shiny guide) I blew my head off and got a bit of a headache, so I reckon lowering the nic would be adviseable. Trouble is, the flavour is so nice you just got to keep picking it up.

My thinking too Super-Shiny, if I can save a few more pence I would be happy! Just need to work out a way of smuggling in a KF after the Christmas expenditure! Have it delivered too work Hmm, not feasible as I teach in 12 schools a week!! It's more about getting the payment to FT without SWMBO seeing the payment on the statement - we have a shared bank account. Might have to offer some filthy tenners to my vaping mate and ask him to order it on my behalf

I've started using microcoils and even sub-ohming. I haven't reduced my intake or level of nic at all in my liquids, I reckon all you lot are just odd. . . .

Just ordered another one. This time I think will try a navy nest wick, as I suspect my hamfisted cotton wool one may have been faulty. Live and learn!

Did you completely break it all??? you could more than likely buy a few parts to get it working as it should again. You can have only damaged the tubes unless you went to town on it?

The polycarb centre piece is pretty much wedged in. Left it in the fridge, then tried to prize it off with vape grips, no dice. If it frees up at least I'll have two Kayfuns to experiment with

I did a group buy on here for an order from the above link and managed to get shipping from €13 to £1.85 each delivered to everyones door.

The saga continues... finally managed to dismantle the Kayfun, using a combination of wire cutters, vape grips, the fridge, and wiggling. The polycarb body was wrecked in the process but the metal body that comes with the unit was sitting looking at me so... it was time for another try. Another cutting wule one. I couldn't get the bottom part off the unit, so built it atop of it, and - it works! Chuffed to bits.
Watching more kayfun vids I saw a tip from the Oirish fella who does a navy nest build (yet to try that). When it's first filled, from the grubscrew end, cover the airhole and take a couple of quick primer hits to draw liquid back into the main container. So far - so far - it's worked when filling this thing.

Took delivery of my Lite plus yesterday and went with a dual strand navy nest as the first wick. Filled it up and wow, very impressed. I did flood it a bit initially but that's just the learning curve. Have to say it is the smoothest vape I have had to date. Very impressed.
