??? Help please! I have connection problems between my itaste v3 and the Aspire bdc. Sometimes it works when I pull the centre pin up on the battery, but not for long. Is it a pin problem on my Aspire? How can I rectify this? Getting desperate .....

I has the same problem with 1 of my aspire's, what I did was to remove the BDC head and then sand about 1 mm off the 510 connector on the aspire base.

I've got two itaste v3s and I've also had this problem but only with one of them, and this was with just one of my two Aspire mini vivi novas. No problem with an Aspire Davide glassomiser (great tank). My fix is to to insert a small screwdriver into the bottom of the Aspire head and gently circle it, but not pulling it out much, and making sure the post is central afterwards.
I've got an SVD now and that has a spring loaded centre post so don't get this problem anymore, but I do like the itaste v3 for out and about vaping.

I've had problems with my Aspire (and Evods) in my MVPs but they all work perfectly with my iTaste3 Chinese engineering tolerances must be a bit flubbery tbh.
I've ordered a 510 airflow adaptor that should allow me to use my Aspire in my MVPs.

That is a nifty idea, having your clearo attached to the MVP, is it difficult to do kibbster? I am using my protank on my new MVP2 which arrived today and I am liking it very very much.

No it's easy, you just screw the vanity ring on then the adaptor, then you screw the Aspire into the adaptor. Then you can leave a gap for more airflow or screw up the ring towards the clearo so it tightens to draw. Well that's the theory In practise the ring is tiny so fiddly. It works very well as an adaptor though that doesn't look stupid

The basic problem with the Aspires is the recessed 510 pin ... unless you have a mod with a spring loaded or adjustable 510 pin, you will need to use a 510 to 510 adapter or an air control ring or continually raise the fixed 510 pin on your mod.

Sorry kibbster, I had thought the clearomisers were attached to the sides of the MVP, I thought that was a nifty idea to carry them altogether..if you know what I mean..but, I had another look at the pic and they are at the side/back of the MVP Freefromsmoking...I don't use an adaptor with the MVP2 and the Aspires, and they vape perfectly .

Happy for you .. you must be one of a very few who hasn't had a problem with the MVP / vivi nova style (510 connector) Aspire combination. When I used them they worked fine on a Spinner, an SVD and an Evic but no matter how much I raised the pin on the MVP, contact could not be made. I solved that with an air flow control adapter. Nevertheless they are probably one of the best clearos out there for trouble free, no effort vaping.

freefromsmoking....Don't know if it makes a difference but, mine are the AspireBDC, I have 4 different colours and they look and vape great. I do however, use a plinth when I am using my Protanks on the MVP2.

I do however, use a plinth when I am using my Protanks on the MVP2. I think all the Aspires (5 different types ... CE5, ET, ONE, vivi nova and mini vivi nova) are BDC Phoenix . but some are Ego connection and some are 510 connection. The ones that I had were the Aspire vivi nova style glassomiser with the 510 connection. I don't know if the type with the Ego connection has caused any connection problems but those with the 510 connection caused me problems but only with the MVP.
