Evic yay / Nay

Should i or shouldnt i buy an Evic, what are the pros and cons of this not really needed mod, i own an SVD and Vamo already, but always have had a soft spot for the evic, what are your views

My view of the eVic is that the head alone is great but the tubes you get with it are crap.

I changed my tubes and got them from here, the brushed steel version: pink-mule.com/siam-mods/siam-evic-body

For me buy head only and get new tubes.

Again this is only my opinion

EDIT: Piccy here of the eVic in 18350 mode...also got the 18650 tube but am awaiting the 18500 tube too arrive: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/15174/hand-right?page=28

I myself prefer 18500 mode on everything.

If it is a real bargain, go for it.  But by the time you buy better tubes and then need an airflow thingy cause the threads are worn, will it still be so much of a bargain?

My 2nd hand Provari has to be my biggest vaping bargain to date

Tbh the thread side of things applies to most mods, treat them well and they will treat you well, i myself did not treat one of my eVics well and i felt the consequences of it

Gary Horder - the eVic is my favourite elec mod (I've been through a MVPv2, Zmax Mini, iTaste VV and spinners etc) even my much loved Vamo runs second place to it.

I actually quite like the default silver 18650 tubes myself (looks very smart with a Davide on top as tapers to 19mm) but it does feel a little delicate so rarely leaves the house.

Delivers a really nice smooth vape with good airflow though and lots of whizzy feature (which admittedly are more fun to mess with than actually useful).

But yeah loves the evic...

Go for it mate .... it's the only regulated mod that I have held onto since going mechanical .... it is my take out/stealth vape mod in 18350 mode (same Siam tubes that Super-Shiny is hoping to part with)
