I am a member over on UKV and have just read through one particular thread, now i realise why i come here as much as i do and why i probably wont be posting over their again, kudos to everyone for keeping this a friendly vaping palace of fun and information, i hope we never delve to the depths of some of the crap i have been reading over their.

What thread are you referring to Hodor? I am a member there, but rarely visit or post. Can't be doing with the dramas and rudeness of some people. Saying that, I have met some very nice people from over there at our LSE meets, so as with most places there's good and bad.

I love it here too, I regularly read and occasionally contribute on UKV, but it's just mist in the fog. AAEC, The friendly forum.

I quite agree Gary ... I signed up to UKV some time ago (not under my freefromsmoking tag), followed the accepted protocol of introducing myself, and received 1 solitary welcome (from a moderator) .... I haven't signed on since.

When i first started vaping it was my go to forum, have 500+ posts their, but since signing on here and discovering my husband to be Super-Shiny i hardly go back, just being nosey tonight of the back of a thread posted here, wish i didnt bother lol

I'm also a member from when I first started researching this 'weird art'. I still occasionally pop over to look and have nothing bad to say about them, but haven't logged in or posted for ages. I'm sure it suits many people and good luck to them... but I know where I like, I know where my home is and where I am so comfortable... even if I step out of line sometimes. Yes, I like the odd 'friendly' slap sometimes.

I joined ukv last year before discovering aaec needless to say WILL NOT be going back there!
AAEC is the crème de la crème......... mmmmmhhhh long draw on my vc

I've never been on ukv, but what I love about aaec is that there are no stupid questions, no matter what stage you're at in your vaping journey people will help you along, no one takes themselves too seriously, and it's a generally nice place to be. Xx
