Received my Kayfun Lite today after a very long wait from Vaporbreak.
First built was at 1.1 ohms using cotton and .30 kanthal wire. It was very 'poppy' and leaked through the bottom hole.
I did not really want the 1.1 ohms but thought id give it a go anyway. So the second build was 1.8 ohms using cotton and .30 kanthal wire. No vape, leaks out the bottom hole and through drip tip. But it had some lovely vape coming from it before I put it all together and filled it up.
I filled it from the bottom using a needle bottle. I have the coil slightly raised from the air hole. I tried to put enough cotton on the sides so it does not just flow through. I filled it slowly, I did not over fill it. So for me I feel like i have covered everything.
Anyone shine some light on this please?
Would love to get this thing going!!

Oh, and it has a very tight draw. Not sure if this is what the Kayfun's are like but thought it was worth a mention

Check your airhole isn't bunged up with swarf from machining etc poke a needle in there.

Also make sure you don't accidentally cover the air hole with your hand when taking a draw

Also what's the hole with the nut in for?!

The tight draw is most likely what is causing the leaking problem ... you are drawing so hard that you are sucking too much juice into the chamber. The Kayfun lite is generally reckoned to have an airy draw so I would suggest that you remove the 510 pin and check that there is no swarf or other manufacturing muck blocking the airway.

You shouldn't put enough cotton in there to reach the juice channels, they must be completely clear.
[edit] also, I heard that the clones do have a tighter draw than the originals [\edit]

Just re-read your OP ... "from Vapourbreak" ... it is the Russian91% clone that you have not a genuine Kayfun Lite... the hole with the grub screw is your air control ... loosen the grub screw with the allen key and your draw should be much airier.

I have a R91%, I'll take a picture of my set up when I refill so you can see what is working for ME.
I had/have two of the BT804 dreams for 6 months before the 91% arrived. They sold me on the Kayfun design. Really happy with the 91.
Cheers I

Got it to work now, thanks a lot for all the tips.
The 1.8 has gone up to 2.1 now, not really getting much vapor at 14w. Looks like I got a free whistle with it as well. I suppose you get what you pay for.
