My russian clone needed its air hole cleared out before I could draw on it. It also came fitted with a top o-ring that was too thin. And these things work by creating a low pressure above the liquid in the tank, so not too much flows into the chamber with the coil - so it stays below the air hole. If the ring is too thin (or whatever) then the liquid will leak down the air hole until it is the same level inside the central bit as it is outside it. So if yours still leaks, try changing that o-ring for the spare.
It also had a u/s fill hole - threads gone, so I have to fill it through the top - finger over the air-hole while filling, put the top back on & turn it upside down over a bottle, to collect 3 drops or so while the pressure equalises. Then put the drip cap in.
In spite of which, this & my rocket (similar design, similar problems) are my go-to vapes & much better for me than my Nautilus or aga-t. Vape strength is so good that I've reduced the nic % in my juice.

Got it to work now, thanks a lot for all the tips. The 1.8 has gone up to 2.1 now, not really getting much vapor at 14w. Looks like I got a free whistle with it as well. I suppose you get what you pay for. Timbo ... if you don't mind an airy draw, remove the air flow grub screw entirely and the whistle will disappear

Thanks everyone for some great tips :-) I am looking forward to trying out different builds with it and finding out what works for me. It is definitely my favourite so far for looks anyway.
The drip tip that it came with, the hole is a lot smaller at the mouth piece. Is there any advantages with this or not?
Also, should these type of atomizers be kept up right or does it not matter?

I haven't noticed any adverse effect with using my own 510 drip tip. It doesn't matter if you lay it on it's side.

Its not really a dripping atomizer. I guess that's why the small hole in the tip. I have had no problems with getting a good draw from it with the small hole.

I still need to fix where the juice enter as the corner is't drilled /machined well like this picture and I guess it's not entering enough liquid. Timbo try to look and see if yours are same like this pic. I try to take a pic of mine when I open it to recoil it

From your pic, I try to get my coil lined up perpendicular (is that the right word) to the juice channel.
It looks from the pic that the cotton may move away from the channel once saturated.
I find it better having the cotton drop straight down to just above the juice channel/groove

Apologies. I will read the posts properly next time lol
Certainly if your corner is not drilled out properly it will restrict the flow of juice and cause poor wicking.

melitahams it does not look that bad. It could do with a bit more taken off the well on the screw part, but the base looks fine. I did not have wicking issues so I will most likely leave it. Just come back to the Kayfun and the clear section has cracks all around it. It is also misty now Don't think it likes Pineapple! So looks like I might be stuck with using the metal section. Taking out the screw did not cancel out the free whistle. The whistle noise is coming from the other air hole, for me anyway. I am about to do an S shape build with silica wick.

Pineapple is a well known polycarbonate tank cracker TimboTry removing the grub screw and take a draw while putting a finger over the air hole ... if the whistle disappears, simply block off the air hole with blutac or similar and get your air from the grub screw hole. The method that you use when taking a draw will have a bearing not only on the amount of juice that is drawn into the chamber but on the noise that is produced from the air hole ... a long slow draw is what is needed.

It certainly did win @freefromsmoking, some kind of fruit ninja. The pineapple is going to have fun trying to do that to the metal section All this talk of pineapples is getting to my head....
