holtyh - I've had a quick look over various websites and this is the cheapest ego battery I can find: www.paradisevapeuk.co.uk/product-p/xmas-ego.htm
It's £6 plus delivery, comes with a stand, USB charger cable and a crappy clearo that can go in your emergencies only box. The Xmas theme seems to be limited to the packaging, thank goodness!

Note that paradise vape is not a recommended seller on here, due to some issues with their website - so buyer beware, but I've not had a problem with the stuff they've sent me. Just thought it fair to point this out.

you can't go far wrong with the iclears, but I would recommend getting a mini protank as well so you have something to try some of the potential tank crackers. I use both regularly and love the cooler vape of the minis for fruity and minty juices and the iclears for dessert flavours. Mr Lairey prefers the iclears all the time so it's all down to personal preference.

I know it sounds silly when you do the maths, but definitely stick to smaller bottles of juice (10ml or less) until you know what you like. Yes the larger ones are better value, but there's not much value in it if you don't like the juice and have the bones of 30ml sitting around.

Smoke Rainbow does 1ml testers of popular juices for around 60p each. It's well worth buying a bunch from them to give you an idea of what you'll like. If you don't like a flavour you've only spent pennies instead of pounds. Takes about a week for them to arrive, but the juice will be ready to test from the minute it lands.
