A busy day, therefore quiet forum!

For those of you who are new to this vaping malarkey, today is a big day!
All over the country vapers are meeting outside BBC and radio studios to peacefully demonstrate their commitment to vaping. The intention is that this will raise our profile to the media, and publicise the proposed EU restrictions on vaping and e-cigarettes.
For this reason, expect the forum to be quieter than usual this morning, as most Vapemeets are due to take place at 11.00, and many forum members are taking part.
I'm sure we will all be amply supplied with pictures and stories from these meets later on today!
To all of those of you taking part, I wish you clear skies, numerous clouds of vapour, and the conviviality of meeting fellow vapers in the common cause.

Perhaps those of us shackled to desks, housework (me!), or other reasons for non-attendance should cook up something really major here on the forum, to be finished by 6pm tonight so all those attending Vapemeets miss out on the fun!?

Looks they are very lucky with the weather. I wish I could have gone to one as well, but stuck in the shop fitting dance shoes on little feet.

Wish I could have gone to one of them, but I couldn't justify paying for flights & accommodation over to England icon_shoppingm

Looking forward to seeing some photos on here though, and hopefully some BBC news at some stage.

I've just checked the Beeb too zeldamum!! What are we like here, stuck hundreds of miles away from the action!? Must dash, off to do a week's worth of ironing in front of iPlayer!!

OOOh, a southwesterly breeze, can I detect to aroma of Red Astaire coming from somewhere to the south of Camborne zeldamum!!!? Or is it my Protank fogging up the front room and mingling with the steam from my iron!?

I've just done the Essex meet. Not many turned up, but we had a good cross section of people. 6 guys, 1 lady, 2 children with dad and 1 dog. We spoke to an editor from the BBC, who had been monitoring facebook to gauge the attendance and came out to greet us. We gave him our thoughts and he was very sympathetic with our cause(being an ex smoker himself), he was very kind and offered to show us around the station, but we had a dog in tow so had to decline. However he say that nothing would be mentioned about the meet, because it was hardly news owing to the small amount of people present.

Still we made a presence, if only small. onward and upwards

Such a shame so few turned out, but from 'small acorns mighty oak trees grows'

chykensa haven't started mixing yet, have to wait until after 2pm when i close the shop Don't want to turn away business, but really want to start the mixing session. Recipe cards and labels all done ready.
