Hi, I have seen ego batteries on ebay relatively cheaply. Is this a sign they are rubbish? Does anyone have any experiences with these? Thank you

I was tempted by 2 of these, one arrived faulty the other worked if it felt like it, buy from somewhere like myepack.co.uk/batteries.html and get a decent battery with next day delivery and excellent customer service

I got my first kit from ebay before I found this forum and have also bought a spare battery just a small one both cheap and had no problems with them. I have moved on from ego batteries now though to vv/vw but the 1st ones are still in my backups and get used on occasion

Ebay ego batteries are no worse or better than any other batteries. They are cheaper because Most often the vendor is not running a dedicated e-cigarette business rather has a garage/spare bedroom stacked high with imported electronic gadgets and gizmos. No business rent, rates overheads or staff wages for a spare bedroom!
The risk you take when buying vape related stuff from ebay is that if the order goes missing or the vendor refuses to replace faulty goods ebay or paypal wont help out because e-cigarettes are banned by ebay (vendors get round this by calling them smething else eshishas etc.) Also the chances are if anything goes wrong with the battery the vendor is unlikely to have much technical knowledge if any.

There was a batch of fake eGo CE4 batteries knocking around on eBay about 6 months ago. They were mostly advertised as 900's but contained 650 batteries and had crappy circuit boards.
Saying that I have had several good eGo-T batteries from eBay with no problems whatsoever.
