I think I killed it. Bought some o rings from bq. Replaced old one and now my protank will no longer screw into place.
Thankfully got two ego twists but I'm a bloody fool.
Vamo v5 next?
Mr p the DIY idiot.

@purple1234 If all else fails, give raid2506 a shout, he is an absolute wizard at rectifing faults. Thanks for the tag @purple1234, the correct size O ring is only 1mm thick (cross section), you can get away with 2mm or 3mm diameter but any bigger risks shorting. If you have been having problems with shorting, not firing or spurious display readings then I can have a look at it for you. Won't cost you anything except postage.

Hi raid, firstly thank you for your offer of help, its much appreciated.
Unfortunately ive managed to damage ( slightly but noticeabley) the threads on the vamo.
I must have stripped parts of them whilst trying to get the what now appears to an oversized o ring in there.
I will use it until I get my next mod.
Many thanks Mr p.

That's cool, as long as it's serviceable and you can get by. You may find that an airflow or other adapter will give you an easier life in the short term. In many cases the threads can be restored or at least cleaned up and re tapped. Once you replace it can I ask that you don't dispose of it? Either keep it as a spare or pass it on to somebody who can recycle it.
