Back from the hospital and there is no structural damage!!!  I got a lecture (wrist slapping) from the consultant. Just (???) stretched ligaments and I have been told to keep using the stick for the foreseeable future. So Hop-a-long will stay hop-a-long for a while. I have to go back in 3 months time for another consultation. So overall, a good outcome. |

I actually drove up to the hospital today and back again. Okay, I had to grab me trouser leg to lift my foot onto the clutch pedal but I was okay after that.
Fortunately I got flashed by an oncoming car when the Polis had laid a speed trap ahead of me. Blimey, if I had been caught in that, they would have had a field day watching me trying to get out the car with a gammy leg.
Its amazing how much housework I canny do with a bad leg. Washing up, taking the bins out, cooking, the list is endless. Just wonder how long I can keep it up for?
