I'm not sure it exists. I think I've found it now and again and then suddenly there are leaks, poor airflow, muted flavour etc and I go back to square one before ploughing more money into more mods and atties. Still, keeps me out of trouble.

I've found my holy grail, for juice anyway. RY4 Deluxe from callum-YouVape is the best juice I've had to date, and I doubt if I'll ever find or need better. I still vape other juices at times, but this I vape everyday. He also does a concentrate for it now.

At the moment for me it is not the equipment that I am having problems with, it's finding the ideal all day vaping liquid I'm struggling with. I have excellent results with the Kayfuns, Diver, iClear 30 and even the Aga T3 and TD. Like giles said, " vape quality is about having a decent chimney, and an adjustable air flow directly opposite it, with the coil between them", rings true with me.I have tried many, some being too much flavour, some too little, some flavours I just don't like, Some I like to start with and then rapidly go off. The closest to a flavour that I can vape all day is the custard types, but even these get a bit sickly after a while. I have tried mixing my own favourites to keep the cost down, but like the OP has said I'm still chasing the holy grail of vapes, but will probably never find it. To me, the Holy Grail of vaping is subjective. What's good for the goose is not always good for the gander, if you'll excuse the cliche. I'm still searching for that perfect all day vape but find that my taste changes from week to week. So far, I keep coming back to "Toot" by e-cig depot as my all day vape. I suffer from "the grass is always greener" syndrome, so I'm always looking for something else - my Holy Grail

Variety... alternating RY4, Red Astaire, and something from the pick 'n mix of homemade juices, a few of which are in iclear 16s on standby duty while the main tank is the Kayfun (managed to get the knack of filling it so it doesn't wee juice everywhere lol). It's RA at the moment.

Must be honest, but I've never looked, nor wanted a ' Holy Grail ' type of flavour . . . a large part of the vaping fun for me anyway, has been trying a variety of flavours. Switching about during the day also stops my taste buds from getting too tuned in. I'd get bored with just one or two flavours, as I did with smoking. Variety is the spice of life for me.

Variety for me every time! I find different devices have different balances of qualities, and different strengths and weaknesses. Until I started mixing my own juices I had never tried dripping with an RDA (fantastic flavour!) and this year I intend to try 'squonking' with a bottom-fed atomiser. I do get satisfaction from trying to tune the different atomisers to my personal taste and, hopefully, improving my wicking/coiling skills.
If I felt I had arrived at the ultimate vape I'd probably soon get bored!

Rather boringly I vape the same juice most of the time. For me using a decent re-buildable atomiser is what makes the most difference. There are a huge number to choose from now from drippers to ones with large tanks and everyone has their favourites. That is where I would dabble my toes to improve things
