My combie boiler is constantly losing pressure & needs to be topped up. So it looks like I've got a leak somewhere - under the concrete floor

That's bad news M8.

Fixed a pinhole leak on one of our central heating pipes last winter with something similar to this www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_199433_langId_-1_categoryId_255230

It held up for months till i got chance to drain the heating & fit a new section of pipe.

had to have emergency call out as had no heating or hot water and five peole who needed showing in morning before work / college / university lol, didnt turn up till 3 in morning,not happy

I had a similar situation about two weeks ago but probably not as serious, I was stood at the sink filling up the kettle when I just happened to glance down in to the gap between my washing machine and the cupboard and I saw a strange brown thing on the wall at the back, after pulling out the washing machine I found fungus growing on the wall behind it, strange flute like mushrooms they were and after calling out the "council scum" they discovered that one of the connections from the washing machine to the water pipe had been very slowly leaking over the course of a month or so and the fungus had grown because of all the dampness. You should all check behind your washing machine just to make sure you don't have anything growing behind it lol.

I have water stains on my kitchen ceiling, probably loose roof tiles or the loo is leaking water somewhere. E mailed the council, date for visit to view the problem, Feb 19th !

On top of that, my security light outside needs a new bulb which I have bought, but the council say, they can't fit it as it is not their light, point is there are 3 steps down to my front door from the gate, not good to have no light in winter especially when it gets icy.GRRRRRRRR, I am unable to climb ladders, hoping my neighbour will help me out. lol

washing machine connections are notoriouse for leaking.
