On a serious note though, it's good to hear that the Police were happy to leave you to it, vaping that is. Also that you might have converted one of them and his wife over to vaping.

I was talking to a Policeman last week, whilst waiting for an ambulance to come and pick up an incapacitated drunk from the floor of the foyer of our apartment block, as he lit up a cigarette (the Policeman that is) and I had my vaping gear in my hand. Anyway, he wasn't convinced that vaping was safer than smoking, even though I explained to him the contents of the liquid inhaled against the toxins from a cigarette. Suffice to say, no conversion of that Policeman He was friendly enough, but nothing would persuade him.

And today I got talking to an, lets just say acquaintance, who I happened to mention that I had given up smoking. She asked how I managed it and that she wanted to give up. So, of course I showed her my setup and once again explained a lot of things, you all know how it goes. Anyway, she said she had been about to book an appointment with a hypnotherapist for 150 euros but is now considering trying vaping out first before splashing out the 150 euros being hypnotised

Must admit I have been surprised at peoples reactions to the e cigs, especially my team leader who nearly fell off her chair choking when I had a toke on mine during my yearly appraisal  

What is the matter with people, their reaction is often worse than if I had lit up an analogue, at least 50% have asked if there are drugs in it, mind you I usually say "yes" and carry on regardless, in hindsight that probably isn't helping!

In EVERY walk of life there are peeps trying Vaping, it stands to reason Coppers will, I know 2 Fire officers and a Paramedic who have been Vaping over 6 months after giving up Smoking, I would be shocked if NO Bobbies had tried it!!

Some people, really! At least something good came out of it Steve, the police learnt a bit about vaping & there might be two new converts. It did also give me a chuckle though.

Thanks for the responces guys and gals. Id be very happy if they did decide to convert. Im not bothered about be asked about vaping, I even go out of my way to explain it all. But some people are just so ignorant and then theres the oldie technophobes lol

Whenever I'm asked if im taking drugs I simply reply

"Yes. It's a crack pipe"

To which there is no further discussion. To be fair though, I should probably hang around crack dens less.
