Hi all was waiting for my bus at the bus station earlier, its an open air bus station so smoking and vaping is ok as it is not indoors or a confined space. I was there happily vaping away when asked by an elderly lady what I was doing. Nothing out of the normal since vaping is relativley new. So I told her I had given up smoking and taken up vaping instead, in told her exactly what was in it and how it worked. She asked if it was legal so I said yes completely I can use this were people cant smoke. This seemed to agitate her a bit and she stormed off (as qick as one can with a walking stick and swollen ankles the size of grapefruit. I just carried on as normal.
10 minutes later the Police arrived Apparently a 999 call was made by a little old lady saying someone with red hair and piercings was smoking drugs from a pipe in a public area of the bus station I was searched then quizzed by the cops about my vaping gear, they showed genuine interest as they had not come across a battery and clearomiser before, only the disposable ecigs. I was happy to show them what it was and how it worked, one was a smoker and gave it a go, said he was now going to look into them as a stop smoking aid for himself and his wife, I gave him details of this forum and they left me to it
The old lady was stood at another bus stop (probably waiting for an arrest to be made) when the police left me to it she started asking them why they werent doing anything about me and why should she pay taxes to pay police not arresting drug users
Just thought id share as its made my week

I would have been very tempted to make a complaint about the malicious old sow!

A positive came out of a negative at least Steve (VapeStorm) . . . sorry to hear you had the upset though.

Maybe she was being nosey quizzing you like that, but calling the police??? Slight overkill methinks. Well done for giving the policeman a go though stevenj, you could have gotten two people off of analogues, and that can only be a good thing.

The Police weren't there but she 'called' them? Something doesn't add up. What in the name of Hell is a 'telephone'? And '999' clearly you mean 666 - she was clearly involved in necromancy and you should summon the Police (by letter, of course, or maybe a message sent on horseback). And the Inquisition. This old dear was clearly a witch and the authorities should deal with her. What else do we pay tax/tithe for?

On a serious note, the interest shown by security staff at airports has amazed me.
On my way out to Crete this week the guy behind the scanner was a vaper himself and well impressed with the iTaste VTR.

This made me chuckle too (sorry). Old people can be a pain in the ass, bless 'em. I chuckled too yesterday because I've converted an oldie apparently! Attended docs just before Xmas for routine blood tests. The nurse asked what was hanging round my neck (only a Kanger in a leather lanyard). Gave her chapter and verse about vaping (not to mention where I get my gear from - Vapourtine and Vape Escape take note he,he). She said she would buy a kit for her Mum. Saw the same nurse yesterday. She got a kit and juices for her Mum, for Xmas. Mum loves it and hasn't had a cig since!!

There are a few 'oldies' on this forum that can do without you being so patronising ' bless 'em', that is something you say about children not aged adults. Go wash your mouth out with soap and stand in the corner.
