Not counting the cost of bottles and syringes which are a one-off purchase I worked out that 30mls of 18mg home made tobacco flavoured eliquid costs me about £1.25

I use these people too, cheap and quick delivery, well packaged.
I have never worked out the exact cost of homemade, I always thought about £1 per 10ml. Using your calculations it's cheaper and as I am reducing my nic month by month it gets cheaper and cheaper.
I am off to buy myself a pint to celebrate!

Great post Clive and good to see its saving a fortune! How much is 10ml of Afro? About a fiver if I recall?
And if mixing suits it's possible to get the nic for less than £60 quid a litre so it would be interesting to see what the actual cost would be based on that as well

From my experience about a pound for 10ml sounds right. Plus or minus depending on your recipe obviously.

The bottle I got put it at August 2015, so somewhere around 20 months from when I received it.  

Not sure if there is much point freezing it, but I was planning on freezing at least half of it along with my nic base when I get my 2 KG from the group buy.  But then again, even if I had to bin half of it, it still would work out cheaper, lol.

Of course, I suppose I could sell a couple hundred ml.  I'm not convinced I'll get through the full litre in time.  

Well, just done a quick calc, looks like around 4000 ml of juice to use the 1000 ml of PG (at 18mg, 70/30 with 72mg PG nic base with 20% concentrate).  At 4 ml per day, that'll take me 1000 days, or a little under 3 years.  I suppose I could sell half of it, lol.

Now to cost that up, assuming £10 per 30ml of concentrate (Assuming Red Astaire, but really any T-Juice concentrate), I'll need 800 ml, so that's 27 bottles = £270
1200 ml of VG, at £1.29 per 200 ml = £7.74 (assuming no dilution with Vodka)
Nic Base was roughly £60 for the litre from the group buy (I think it was marginally less delivered).

So total cost for 4L of Red astaire would be £345.23 or 34p per day, or 86p per 10 ml.

Much cheaper than smoking anyway.  Plus I'm almost positive you could get a discount on the Red Astaire concentrate if you were to buy 800 ml of the stuff, lol.
