Hi I recently posted on here about my 8 nth old mini provari flashing the red light for low battery charge on a nearly full charge. It was reccommended that I clean it inside and out with isopropyl alcohol which I did. But it's still flashing the red light not long after I put a battery in it. Some of the batteries I tried are brand new so I know it's not the batteries. Any other ideas on how to fix this annoying problem? Or is my provari done?

Are you able to read the remaining voltage of a battery fitted And then again without it fitted on a multimeter, or other mod even. It's sounding like a heavy voltage drop somewhere which is generally A connection that needs cleaning. That's end cap, spring (pull it out and clean where It inserts in the cap too) threading on the Tube and the positive pin. Is there any sign of corrosion at any of those connections?

It could be that your charger isn't charging the batteries fully. What charger is it? Do you have another one? Do they work fine in other mods?

Also, while you have the alcohol out, clean the tops and bottoms of your batteries. It's amazing how much gunk they accumulate

Another question, are you getting any heat building up in the body? If you are it will show you where there is a poor connection.

When you take the spring out of the bottom cap stretch it a bit before re-inserting.

Should still be in warranty if it is only 8 months old.

ahh yes indeed. Misread the OP as 8 yrs (more coffee required)
Should contact the vendor in that case then as they will most likely be able to assist with warranty repairs etc.

Hi thanks for ur reply. It'd def not the batteries. They work fine in all my other mods. I'll try cleaning the springs and see if helps. And there's no corrosion anywhere Thanks again
