A friend wants some for Monday ! Last batch needed a few weeks steeping ! How many cycles in an ultrasonic do you reckon to speed it up ? Or is it not doable ?

Tell your friend to have patience if she wants you to mix for her. She could buy some ready steeped while she awaits your far superior e-juice to steep and mature

If your friend wants it for Monday than he/she should get a pre-made until the mix is ready, i have tried UC steeping on tobaccos and the outcome is not great, they need a natural steep, 2-3 weeks imo.
I myself have gone off the idea of UC steeping and it was me who thought it was a great idea quite some time ago, natural steep all the way for me, just need to make juices in advance and never run low.

well if the two most definitive forum mixers say: natural steep, then thats the way to go I say! after all, you both have the experience and know how, so I'll bow down and leave everything to brew naturally thanks s-shiny & perp

Most tobacco mixes take around 4 weeks to reach a decent strength and flavour in my experience and will continue to improve the longer it is left to steep. An ultrasonic cleaner may speed it up a bit but I doubt that it would be vapable by Monday ... patience is the mixer's best friend with most recipes and it is certainly the case for tobaccos.

I would say - Walk around carrying the juice while wearing a pedometer, you will see the juice changing colour during your walk. One mile would equate to one day steeping, so to answer your question a 3 week steep would need you to walk 21 miles. Wear some comfy shoes. Only kidding Hope your okay Jaysey

Good example, i have 30ml of Vanilla custard been steeping for 5 weeks in a glass bottle and the color is yellow, if that was in a plastic bottle the color would be brown.....how i don't know, the only thing i can think of is that plastic gets warmer quicker than glass........but the juice deffo tastes better.

I have found the same ... when I decant some from the glass bottle into a leur lock plastic bottle it is pale yellow and then darkens to brown over the next few days in the plastic ... but definitely a cleaner, fresher taste
