Hello Everyone, Been vaping a while now and was after a bit of advice regarding a new clearomizer. I currently use EVODs occasionally, and IClear16s predominantly. I would like to try a Kanger Protank. I use EGO spinner 1300 batteries, will I need any sort of adapter? Or will it be compatible? Also, noticed there are now three versions of the Kanger Protank, 1, 2 & 3. Would a protank 3 be the best/recommended? Lastly, where's the place to go to get one for the best price? Any help appreciated here

It will work, but would look prettier with a type A plinthAlternatively you could get a mini protank, which would look prettier still. I only have a type 1, which whistles, and minis. I rewick them with cotton, which in my view is a considerable improvement. The protank 3 is dual coil, which should give you more vapour & flavour, but drink more juice, and may be more difficult to recoil. Hopefully someone will be along to advise.

Any help appreciated here I think its all a matter of taste. I love all of the Protanks. Your spinner will work with all the Protank's, whatever you decide I think the cheapest will be myepack- myepack.co.uk/You'll get fast delivery and probably the cheapest prices outside of China. I love the Protank 3, but I'm not sure it's that much better than the 2 or 1. If your new to Protanks I'd say go for a 1, bit like a posh evod. Good luck.

I use Protanks on both my Vamo and Spinner, and they work a treat on both. The Myepack kit comes with what's called a 'beauty ring' which will strengthen the fitting to a Spinner and also covers up the threads. You won't need this ring with the Vamo type mod though. I no recoil with microcoils and cotton wool, but it is just as effective to use 3mm Silica and .2 Kanthal to recoil. Heads are available from many retailers at about £3.00 a pop, and they should last about 2 weeks with average use. As mentioned above the PT v3 is dual coil so will drink the juice more quickly but will provide more of everything! For my money the PT 1 or 2 would be a great investment, and you will notice a difference from CE4s and Evods.

Most of the protanks come with a beauty ring in the box. Something to ask when you order. Protank 2 is a single coil and the protank 3 is a dual coil. They have just bought out an aerotank which ia dual coil with air flow controller. Vaping on one now and very impressed.

I use a Protank II Mini on Ego/Evod batteries, they're so easy to fill that the smaller juice capacity is no biggie. As it's the small form factor it looks fine on these batteries without the need for a beauty ring. Only £9.99 with 2 spare heads from HERE

Às they say, a picture is worth a thousand words
I tink the protank ii has a removable 510 drip tip - if so I'd recommend it over the protank so you can use different drip tips. On my protank, continual use of aniseed has eroded the chrome plate from the fixed tip, and I can't replace it This might not even be due to aniseed, and could potentially happen with any juice- with a II, you could use a SS drip tip.

OK, it's not a genuine Protank II mini but it's the same size.

I only have a type 1, which whistles, and minis. I rewick them with cotton, which in my view is a considerable improvement. I also only have type 1, which whistles. I had type 2 and shot it. I also have 5 minis. I rewick them with silica, because I am not a sheep. (I am soooo sorry for that comment....)
