my son has packed up the cigs again. he is currently using my old touchwood with a boge. he is getting a bit fed up with topping up constantly especially as he sees me using a kir franis tank on my provari. today ive put an old arry tank on the touchwood but tanks have always been temperamental even with an adapter on the touchwood as i think the centre pin is a bit tight. anyway, he is 26 and does a lot of manual work and dont really look after nothing so ive suggested getting his stuff but im not that clued up on recent mods, egos etc etc. im trying to think of something as "faf" free and "robust" as possible but with a tank of some sort. im currently thinking this setup might be for him. 3 packs of these linkor linkwith 3 of these linkand one of these. linkand one of these. link
alternatively a silver bullet equivalent (18650) with the above tanks a couple of 18650 batts and charger. he lives at home so i do help with it but id sooner he just got on with it himself really. cost is not too prohibitive. any suggestions please.

I'd suggest These ragjoy instead of the CE4's, I think they're a little more robust on an ego, but mainly they give a much better vape

why not go big? simple and effective, can't get better than Provari+ Protank or that Aspire Nautilus. --just buy spare heads, to avoid the faff of re-wicking and it's all good!! there are plenty other VV/VW mods, if you think he ould prefer any other go for it! (kick + mech?)
cheers

I do Manual work and an MVP2 is Robust, lasts all day on a charge and wont scratch or pick up dents and with an iClear 30 or 30s holds 3ml or so of Juice (I THINK) you can get a belt holster for it so it doesn't fall out of a pocket, I tend to wear a coat with a "Phone" pocket on the chest and that works fine!

The mvp2 combined with an iclear16 is probably the most robust / faff free setup around at the moment. The ce4 is robust but gives muted flavour/throat hit and only lasts aweek or two. The evod is robust but can require some maintainance/cleaning to stop it getting bunged up with condensation and tasting of burnt coil. The ego battery is not robust at all I've done in about half a dozen just by sitting on them - 1 after a day and a half!

Got a MVP2 and its great, with its long battery life adding to the faff freeness. If he is really rough with it though I'd have thought a cheap mechanical mod might be better though.
I've broke a iclear by sitting on it but they ate pretty tough and faff free. Protank mini is glass but very tough, surprised I ain't broke one having had them drop on concrete floor ay work a few times, bigger protank more liable to break, mates broke first time he dropped it at work. But protank needs coil changing more often.
I prefer taste on protank mini over iclear now to be honest, but just personal taste I think as others say opposite.
