soo... it touches, and it's reading 2,6 with 10 turns of .2 ? Does this seem correct ? That sounds about right, you maybe better using thicker kanthal, 0.25 or 0.3 for a really robust coil. I use 12 turns of 0.3 on a 2mm mandrel in my protanks to get 1.6 ohms

SUCCESS ! I'm amazed. This flavour SO it reads 2,6ohm, and I pumped 4,6V through it in the Provari with Perpetua leche ... and it was GREAT I think I could have put some more cotton, but as I used Greigster 's coil buddy, the coil was more tight than in you guide Super-Shiny ! Nevertheless it's going on flawlessly, great vapour, good TH and the flavour is amazing ! I might just give this cotton+microcoil thing a go in the KFL+ Thanks all for the tips ! Cheers

Best way is if you struggle to get the cotton through it's too thick, take some off and try again, gotta remember cotton expands, the cotton should be a snug fit when fitting, not a struggle.

@aldo I agree with Super-Shiny. With a cotton wick, "less is more" You should be able to pull the cotton wool freely back and forth through the coil without any feel of restriction, if you cannot, then you have too much cotton wool. Neil

Neil Totally agree. Any cotton wick i use is like that and then with my protanks if it gurgles i just add a tiny cotton flavour wick and away you go. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2

...I just made another and pushed it through the coil and it seems to be doing fine again ... This is the beauty of microcoils. When the wick gets burned or gunked up, just pull it out, dry-burn the coil, and put some more cotton in.

Hi GreigsterIt sure helped Thanks a lot my friend for the effort you put into this... I'm doing great with the Spheroid, the fact that you can throw it on your pocket and don't worry at all with leaks is just great! It's also in pristine condition and goes great with my polished steel Provari... I'll probably keep the KFL+ to use inside and the Spheroid to go out and about! This was an amazing purchase together with the Coil Buddy ! I liked the pure mech mods and I even tried a Reo back in the day, but since discovering the wonders of VV/VW I've converted... The fact that you don't have to deal with the voltage drop and monitoring battery life seems great. I might give a try one of these days with the PapsX and a subcoil, just to try what everyone raves about atm... k8 you should probably get one of these, seems the best for hanging in pubs etc without worrying about leaks etc.. OneDay that's what I found interesting too simplicity at its best!

I have sort of done the reverse in that I started out with VV/VW and moved to Mech mods but I want to build a DNA20. I have also recently discovered carto`s and I am very impressed. My vaping habits seem to change from week to week though I prefer box shaped mods. I now tend to sub ohm on the Reo`s at about .8ish but because I do not vape that much (about 2 to 3 ml. per day), as soon as I feel the vape drop, I just pop in another battery.
