I have looked through the recipes, and I wondered what difference different flavourings make to the custard? Could you just use vanilla custard flavouring added to your nic base pg/vg mix?? Would this make vanilla custard , or do you have to add other flavours? I notice that some people add French Vanilla Deluxe, and some add French Vanilla. What is the difference between these? And how do they change the flavour compared to if you only used vanilla custard and nothing else? Making custard used to be so easy, pour contents of packet into a jug , add boiling water and whisk

You could just use Vanilla custard but i will be a bit bland and not rich in flavor, French vanilla deluxe is more sweeter and richer than French vanilla

I don't have my ingredients yet, but when I do get them I will be confused, even with the mixing calc, as I've tried it and it keeps giving negative values.
I was wondering if you guys could help me out ready for when it all arrives.
My ingredients are - ready made 50/50 18mg nicotine.
Custard flavour. French Vanilla flavour .
No sweetner as I'm not into too sweet.
I want the custard to be strong- my taste buds are shot. The vanilla I am not sure just a little maybe ? None? Loads? I'm confused. If I bought birds custard powder does that contain vanilla? Does the actual custard flavour contain vanilla? I have been using kings custard and that is good , but I would like a stronger custard flavour if that helps.
I would like to end up with a mix that is 15mg, and 50/50 I don't think this is possible from the mixing calc, but something around that.

Sorry I forgot probably the main thing - the maker.
Well I am getting capella, but I will be also getting cupcake world as they have flavours such as gooseberry that I want to try, so I will be getting custard as well.

I tried others but kings is the best. If you buy VK10 gives 10% discount, not sure if that is all the time, but worked for all mine.

Me too. I will jump in and ask if anyone knows. Why for months the famous Grants Vanilla Custard is out of stock? I read so much about this. Is it no longer to be available, does anyone know/ I keep checking the site and always the same. Out Of Stock? Have many on here actually tried it. Is it hype? The amount of sales he must be losing is massive. Can any one compare say 'Kings' with it? I've never tried it and wont bother but find it odd after reading so much hype about it?

OK cheers for that I'll give it a go I found the longer it steeped for the better it got. I tried it at a week, then left it tried it at two weeks then left it, then used it, by the time it was empty it was perfect. Some people use it from the word go.

OK cheers for that I'll give it a go Mrs B's is a strong custard flavour, but it has to me a taste of caramel or toffee to it? It isn't ambrosia put it that way, but it is a strong custard. I have never tried grants so I'm not sure what type you are looking for. Kings tastes like custard you would eat in a bowl, not extra creamy custard, says birds rather than ambrosia.

You're not going to be achieve 15mg with only using a 18mg base . . . that's the problem with a low strength, it gives you no leeway. This is just my suggestion to keep it simple: 20% Vanilla Custard 5% French Vanilla Deluxe And live with it not being 50/50 either, until you buy a higher strength base and VG/PG separately. CCW's Custard is on the weak side, so be prepared to add even more of that if you want a good flavour . . . personally I'd save my money and buy a couple of bottles of Capella - which is what Grant uses in GVC.
