Hi there, I'm Gary, originally from Bradford but now living in Liverpool. I've been vaping shop bought liquids for the last 8 mth and I'm a complete DIY mixing virgin ???? I've literally just ordered a few things to give it a try, so I thought joining your great board would be a good place to start. I'm just having a look round the forums for now, but as I know absolutely nothing about mixing, I'm hoping some of you guys can offer me some useful advise and tips to put me on the right track when my liquids arrive. As a starting point I've ordered nic liquid, PG and VG base, Capella VC, Capella blueberry cinnamon crumble, a rhubarb flavouring and a sweetener. I know I will probably have to add to that, but it's a start. ????

You'll need a mixing calculator, there's one up the top there ^^^ a few syringes of various sizes and some empty bottles.. and patience whilst your recipes steep! Have fun!

Thanks Dagl, yeah I ordered some 10ml bottles too and my wife's a nurse so no shortage of syringes here. I will be needing the mixing calculator for sure though so thank you ????

Hi kalbo and It's really not that hard once you have your first mix under your belt. If you're unsure about anything, just ask, there's always someone about who'll be able to help. Have a good read through the various sticky threads on the Mixology board and you're good to go

Welcome to you kalbo. I've popped your thread onto our Mixology general board . . . we've a few Members who have recently just started or are wanting to have a go at DIY, maybe take a look at some of their threads in addition to the other great information in this section of the forum. Patience you will be needing, especially with any VC recipes . . . . .

I mixed a couple of 10ml testers yesterday, it's only been 24 hours and oh lord! It smells so so good! Can't wait to try it, I'm drooling! :-)

I can't believe how much it's changed in both aroma and appearance in just 24 hours. It was almost clear when I mixed it and now it's a lovely golden syrup colour :-)
