I just found out that our PBS station in Boston does carry Downton Abbey. Season two is going to start in January. Are you watching season two as well, Bel, or are we behind over here ??

It's a cracking good series Jerry, if you like period drama's . . . Maggie Smith as the 'Dowager' is fantastic, I love her withering one liners.
But all the cast play their parts extremely well also.

In the preview of it, I did notice Maggie Smith was there. She's a good actress and I enjoyed watching her in the Harry Potter series.

I've waited 2 weeks to join in again on this thread, as we collect 2 of each programme before we watch them ( a little OCD I know ) but I like a stack of programmes to get my teeth into, and was worried incase there was any spoilers. Anyhow the point I'm trying to get too is....it's just as good as season one, possibly and dare I say it, better?!  |
