That Carvella clone is a very petty mod - I'm not sure how well it will perform with the aerotank stock coils, but it will certainly look pretty

It's a shame they don't seem to do a set with all of the tubes (I think it's on fasttech but without the adjustable pin) as the aerotank will be much better with a kick, or on a regulated mod.

Well 1 thing about it is... I have nothing to compare it with (apart from the ecig I am using now) so I wont bee too disappointed, and I did ask before I put this altogether... here's hoping

Sorry Dopey, I'm certainly not trying to rain on your parade! All of the gear will be a massive step up from a cig alike, or even an ego style battery. I guess my only concern is the lack of power you will get through a 2ohm dual coil, and the fact that you will be swapping batteries a lot

However, it's easy to forget that they way I like to vape is different from how others vape, and we all do it differently! If you find it lacks in power I'm sure someone here can suggest something to improve matters.

And I still really really like that Carvella clone, but I'm well over my spending limit for the month already...

It's the screw type thing in the top of the mod that allows adjustment for differing depths of atty base.
 you screw the atty on to the top cap then screw in the centre pin to make contact with the atty.
 at least that's my understanding of the idea- it's explained better in various mod reviews on YouTube tho.
 Someone will be along shortly tho to explain it far more eloquently than I can after being up 19 hrs for work lol.

No need for further explanation - this is it. Without an adjustable pin, you can end up with a gap between the mod and the atty, not pretty!

You're nearly right, Caravela pins are solid brass. You place atty on cap and adjust the pin to connect to it. What an adjustable pin does, it has another pin inside the first one and adjusts down to the battery, eliminating battery rattle. Very handy for when 2 or more batteries are used in rotation. (Not all batteries are the same length)

I have that Caravela mod Dopey it is a really nice thing to have and I was thinking about sticking an Aerotank on top as I quite like the Kanger stuff, I was thinking of using protank 2 heads microcoiled with cotton wool to about 1.5 ohms as it's only got an 18350 battery in mine, then maybe get some longer tubes from fasttech and stick a kick in it.
I watched one of Todds reviews at toddsreviews.com I think and he reckoned the single coil heads seemed to perform better than the dual coil ones designed for it.

I might be talking crap, I'm sure someone will put me straight if I am.
