not on UKV it was a specially set up Fb group - currently about 35 people to help to get the idea moving , are you interested ?

I'm mulling over standing either as a candidate, or as an officer of the party, myself. In fact, registering the party (including, but not just because of, my concerns about the name, which may be rejected hence delaying) would seem to be the first priority.

Yes barrynorton Party registration would dispel any doubts regarding the name ,and still allow some time if required to find an alternative . You made some great

contributions to this fledgling group last night to put some infrastructure in place, Is there any reason why a candidate can not also be an officer of the party?

I think the only constraint is the following:

The same person can take on one or more of the roles above,
but you must register at least two different people with us as
party officers. If one person has all three official roles, you must
register someone as an additional officer.
