Hi....
I am an absolute beginner, have never tried an electronic cigarette and need some advice on the liquids..
After reading the forums I have decided to buy E VOD Starter Kit Stainless Steel but I just do not know what liquids to get, I smoke about 30 rollies a day and consider myself a hardened smoker, first cigarette as soon as I wake up while waiting for kettle to boil for my coffee. I am not sure that I want anything other that tobacco flavour but am not sure about strengths and what will give me the hit would appreciate any advice.
Thank you

Welcome WabbitWabbit .. I started and still am using the Evod starter kit for over 2 months now, and am totally smoke free!! Myepack is probably the best and cheapest place to get it from... Excellent service! I can't really comment on tobacco juices as I couldn't stomach them and prefer fruity ones but you will have all your questions answered here as everyone are so so helpful ! Good luck and welcome to the world of vaping!

Hello wabbitwabbit and welcome - good choice of starter kit. I dont vape tobacco flavoured juice so I'll let others advise on that, but what I will say is that it is very difficult to recreate the taste of burning tobacco well. It will be similar, but not exactly the same. As as for strength, I'd go with either 24mg or 18mg to start with, and reduce when you're ready to. This could be weeks, it could be months - don't worry about it, you'll do it when you're ready. Don't worry about PG/VG levels to start with (that's the ratio of ingredients in the juice), but if you find yourself with a choice go for something with a little more PG as that will help recreate that throat hit from smoking.
I was a roll-up smoker and I said exactly the same as you when I started vaping, I only wanted tobacco flavours. My taste buds soon changed, and now I vape deserts and fruit pretty much exclusively. The same might happen to you, so stick to small bottles of juice until you work out what you like - and what you like now might not be the same as what you want in a months time. Good luck - you're going to love it.

Thank you for you replies and the welcome, didn't expect them so quickly!
I am worried that the non tobacco flavours will not do it for me, especially at the beginning. Skyjay, am not sure what tobacco flavour to get, something like Golden Virginia....anything you could suggest?
I am looking forward to not standing outside my home in the cold and the rain!

wabbitwabbit. I used to smoke about 75g drum per week. Never had one or wanted one in 10 months. Never bought tobacco flavoured liquids yet! Have tried some at meets and don't like it. Sweet, fruity and anise are my faves. I started on 18mg, but now mix all my own juice - this week I'm mixing at 10mg. Try starting on 18, but get a bottle of 24mg just in case

Hi wabbitwabbit, Welcome to ecigs from an ex 20 a day for 25years. As mentioned previously , vaping will never capture the effect of smoking. So just a heads up to avoid any dissapointment. You may get 10 different suggestions about which tobacco eliquids capture that smoking feel or taste. Best thing to do is buy samples of those which people have suggested and then go from there. Me personally I went to fruit and dessert flavoured ones first. But if I want a tobacco eliquid, I only buy house of liquid eliquids. Enjoy the journey.

Skyjay, am not sure what tobacco flavour to get, something like Golden Virginia....anything you could suggest? I am looking forward to not standing outside my home in the cold and the rain! I completely understand the want for a familiar flavour. Having said I won't advise on tobacco, a few thoughts are below in case they are useful In my experience the golden virginia style juices can be a little sickly sweet (coming from someone who likes sweet juices) - they smell right, but they taste a little like unburnt tobacco, if that makes sense! however, a few places do a juice called golden rollie that you could try. Maybe get a darker flavour as well, like a USA mix (like Marlboro apparently) that has a real savoury tobacco flavour as well. And get a little bottle of something fruity that you like, just to see what it tastes like - a strawberry or something, just to experience it. if you're getting the myepack starter kit, they also do dekang juice which isn't great but is perfectly acceptable, and comes in various tobacco and fruit flavours.

Thank you again It's the only way to do it - try little bottles of various bits and see what takes your fancy. It might be quite expensive in this first week while you get set up, but it gets cheaper once you find a juice or two that you like. That is, as long as you don't catch shinyitis and start buying lots of fancy vaping gear (no harm in having a little!) - I speak from experience

Hi and wabbitwabbit. Have to say i do agree with skyjay with ltecigs. They are a good plaice to buy from, and do a good selection of tobacco flavours at a good price. have heard good things about sunset virginia and a new one on their site called devils blood £1 for 5ml Worth you getting 4 or 5 10mls of the tobaccos and see how you get on. Our taste buds are so different, so what i may be my pot of gold? could be your poison. Also something to think of is giveing menthol a go. I hated menthol cigies, but love it with vapeing. And don't forget the LT10 discount code. Also worth looking here www.smokerainbow.com they do 1m samples for about 60p Hope this helps Cheers......Rick
