Tobacco flavours are very hit and miss, you'll probably find something you like but to save buying a load of bottles that you don't like to find the one that you do, I'd suggest you buy this virginia sample pack and maybe this tobacco sample pack that way you can have a good vape on 20 samples for a tenner, that's got to be a winner

The tobacco flavour I keep going back to is joosejuice "Black Gold", I was a rollie smoker to wabbitwabbit and couldn't imagine vaping anything but tobacco flavours but I do now, but Black Gold is what I go back to if I fancy tobacco, a lot of others I tried are horrible.

Greetings wabbitwabbit Welcome.  PIPESAUCE is one of my favourite brands of tobacco eliquid. Very mellow, very flavoursome, loads of vapour but nothing like a roll up!

That evod kit from myepack is superb, you get two of them in the kit, usb charger cable and 5 spare heads, it just works well from the start too. Just bought one for the wife but obviously I had to try it too ha ha

Regarding tobacco as said, it's a tricky one, I'm getting on quite well with the hangsen ry4, still a bit of sweetness but not ott like others, I tried some fruity ones amongst others but nah, not ready for them yet.
Being a 40 a day smoker I'm using the 24mg strength, you can always vape a bit less if need be but I find it's pretty good at dealing with pesky nic cravings.

Hi, I'm new too. I started on menthol then tried the fruit ones. I much prefer the fruits and even my OH who was a committed smoker and hated even menthol cigarettes likes the fruit flavours for vaping. I've not tried the tobacco liquids though so no idea if they're realistic or not.

Hi wabbitwabbit - I am pretty new to this as well, and I started out in tobacco flavour buy then had a bad flavour and tried a fruit (strawberry) and have not looked back since. You have to try the different flavours, it brings a while new experience to "smoking"!! Lol

I think almost without exception we all looked for a tobacco flavour initially, Golden Virginia and Hilton worked for me - something a bit sweet/caramelly.

When and if you do feel like trying other flavours, like richvapers I'd also suggest trying Smoke Rainbow.

Welcome you are in good hands! May I suggest that when you order your samples, just stick a random fruit one in that may sound interesting, you may find that you actually enjoy a fruity vape as well!

As others have said stick a couple of other flavour in you shopping basket along with a menthol. Trying to find the right juice is all part of the fun of vaping.

Well, not a lot I can add as you've already received a load of good advice about tobacco flavours which I haven't tried at all, so I'm no help on that topic.
Personally, I thought 'well, if I'm off the fags, I don't want something which tastes like a fag!', so I went for a RY4 to begin with, tobacco and caramel. Gradually I widened the net until I have found the range of juices which I no prefer, but it's been a long and personal journey to get to this point.
As many have already said, be prepared for a massive change in your tastes over the next few weeks; your tastebuds will gradually recover and what tastes good now may not in a month's time and vice versa. Buy small tester bottles (5 or 10ml) first, although this is a bit more expensive. Then, if you don't like a juice, you haven't wasted a load of dosh on 30ml of unvapable liquid. You can always shift it on the forum's classified section, either to sell or to swop for something else to try.
I have recently bought some Hangsen HS Storm from a local market vendor, and this might be fairly close to a tobacco, it's like a mix between cigar and French tobacco, rich and tasty, but not my preferred taste, I must admit.
As far as strengths are concerned, as others have said, go for 18mg, with a bottle of 24mg just in case the cravings get too intense to be satisfied with the weaker juice.
Best of luck in your search, and well done on your choice of starter kit - Myepack would be an excellent place to get it from, good service and prices. The heads it comes with would last you about a month or so, so be prepared and get yourself some more fairly soon so that you aren't stuck without any.

Hi wabbitwabbit. As others have already said your tastes WILL change after a (short) while on Flavours you like. I Smoked Rollies for 30 odd years, and started on Tobacco Flavours, but a very knowledgeable Vendor, who had been Vaping for 3 years already, persuaded me to buy a couple of Non Tobacco Flavs as well as Tobacco, and he was right in my case. It's quite difficult to explain WHY, but Generic Tobacco flavs seemed to be "Missing" something (probably the Smoke, Tar, Cyanide and 1,000s of other chemicals). Vaping is NOT Smoking, and hoping to replace one with the other without changing SOME things is, in all honesty, unrealistic. I have since begun to think that the further away from recreating Smoking Vaping is, for an individual, the better.
Having said that, if you decide Tobacco Flavour IS what you want House of Liquid do, in my experience of Tobacco Flavs (I have tried quite a few) House of Liquid is the most like rolling a Cigar or Tobacco around in your mouth. Their Liquid IS expensive, but certainly the most Tobacco(like) Juice I have Vaped, by a long way

I can't tell you what to do, but I smoked 15 roll-ups a day and started on 24mg. I vape 18mg these days and have recently dropped to a few bottles of 12mg.

If you are on 30 a day, I'd be surprised if 18mg is enough....

I agree with djs - i was on about 30 rollies a day and started on 24mg, after about a month i dropped to 18mg but looking back this may have been too soon. I think I have broken the back of it now and am happy with 18mg, however, I dont intend to drop any further down ay time soon!
