What to do??????

I saw a nice mech mod in a local vape shop but i hadnt got the cash there and then.I asked if he could put it to one side and would pay for it in 2 wks time as it was a treat for my b'day.Suffice to say went back to collect and pay for the item only to be shown a different one.Looks like he had sold it to another person and i was a bit TPO to be fair.Can he do this or shall i find a new vendor.I am a good customer of his.

Did you put a deposit down to secure it? If not, there's little you can do other than take your business elsewhere. Shitty service though if you're a regular

i would say what happend to keeping it for me nice one mate thanks alot, i hate stuff like that why say he would keep it then sell it? obv he can do what he wants but i wouldnt go back to the shop only if needed somthing fast, he broke a gentlemans agreement no turning back from that like

Shame this has happened but im with the vendor on this, if you didnt give a deposit then you dont have a leg to stand on. He wasnt to know if you would be back for the mod so opted to sell it to someone else for cash there and then.

Im with you Geordie vaper,regular customer and a Gentlemens Agreement.

The vendor does have the right to sell his stuff to whoever he likes but to say you will hold something for x amount of time then not do it suggests he's not a very reliable or helpful human being. Nobody can convince me he would have went bust over one mod and personally I'm disappointed. What kind of a world is it where you can't at least give someone a chance, he could have just held it for however long he agreed then sold it if the other party didn't come through and then not done it again for that person. That I would understand.

Also he could have said I'm sorry but if someone wants it I have to sell it and that he couldn't hold on to it for anyone.

I don't care if you're a vendor or a private seller, an agreement is an agreement end of story.

Legally there's nothing you can do but I would be pretty miffed and certainly wouldn't want to go back to that shop. It just doesn't show his character in a very good light.



What if that was someone on here, a private seller and he agrees to give you a week to pay then sells it to someone else, would you all say that's his right? Or would you be annoyed and disappointed?

i let a person down on here after he held onto a device for 4 days i think it was, wasnt my intentions though my work screwd up my pay as it was holiday pay, but felt horrible never the less
