I'm looking for a hotel which will be close to O2 Arena London & close to transport to get to & from KingsCross station. Not familiar with London at all, so need to make it as easy as possible. Any recommendations/advice would be much appreciated Oh by the way...the Holiday Inn on Bugsby Way is fully booked. (Thinks it's called Bugsby Way) :-[

Just wondering...would be just as easy to book a hotel close to Kings Cross & get a tube to & from the venue?

Try greenwich there's a hotel ibis there then you can get the bus straight to the O2 or a taxi for a tenner. It cost 15 quid from my house to the O2 and I'm near Bromley.

The Travelodge responses to Watchdog and their customers would make me very happy to stay in one of their rooms. Seems to me they take customer satisfaction very seriously even if they fall down occasionally.
Wonder if mummy pigeon and egg were reunited ???

The O2 is excellent. Some really great bars and clubs there or even restaurants if you fancy a nice meal before or after Natzx
