MVP problem

So I've had my MVP for just 2weeks and there is problem after problem. I put a protank 3 it and at first it worked. Now I have to put it on super loose for it to even fire but when it does it does vape right it cuts out of about 3 seconds. Then I've put a mini pro tank on it just burns the liquid even on 8watts. Also it reads my ohms crazy. I put a new 2.0ohm coil in my protank 3 and it read 0.9ohms.... At first the MVP was ok but after about 3days this all happens..... I'm losing my temper with this thing!

Wow that doesnt sound good. Have you cleaned the contacts?

Other than that i would send it back for replacement.

Hmm, sounds like a short on the coil, not the MVP.

Not sure why it would need to be loose to fire - if I have a problem with my MVP, it always the opposite! Let's come back to this.

If the juice is tasting burnt, it's not likely to be the battery. It's likely that the coil isn't getting enough juice through the wick. In my experience, the Kanger coils are if varying quality, and some of them aren't made very well. It may be that you've got a dodgy one. The coil doesn't burn juice, it vaporises it - at a higher wattage, it vaporises it quicker which means the juice has to flow quicker through the wick to keep up. The MVP only goes to 11w, this isn't particularly high. So my suggestion is try another coil!

The 0.9 ohms suggests a short on one of the coils in the protank 3. Again, likely to be a dodgy coil, and needs changing. Do you have a different device that reads resistance to check it?

This is the problem with these coils - varying quality in the production process, means you get a few badly made ones. In a way, it's why the single coils are better because they are easy to remake yourself. Just my onion!

Now the protank fitting issue - see if it's better when a new coil is in. If not, check the pin on the bottom of the unit is in properly.

Is the sleeve on correctly on the MVP?.....Try taking it off & then putting the protank on without it......

As said, I'd say the problem lies with the atty, not the MVP.

Have you tried using the IClear30 that came with it ? Try an ohms reading with the IClear too, it should be be about 2.0 ohm

Yeah it reads that correct but it won't fire......

If you are getting a correct ohms reading then that sounds like you are getting a good connection.
I would consider contacting the vendor and getting it replaced
