Personally I have found I wait a lot longer to have my first vape in the morning, often I'm in the car en route to work, when I smoked I would never have been able to resist for that long. I have been dropping the nic levels when buying liquids for the last few weeks, not drastically, I've just gone from 18 to 14mg so far with a few 12s in the last lot. I've not noticed any increase in cravings, in fact unless I remember to look at the bottles when refilling I don't really think about the strength at all, it's all about the taste. So much easier than struggling with a nicorette inhaler which tasted disgusting and failed miserably

I'm mixing mostly zero nicotine these days, it's all about the flavour now. I just love vaping, simple as that!

I don't think nicotine is what made cigs addictive. As was said above people don't rush for an emergency vape when they first wake up, even when they first started vaping, yet we ALL did with cigs.

I've been talking about this today. Because my quitter's flu is really bad at the moment, I put off my first vape of the day deciding I'd wait till the craving got bad and I *needed* it. I'd never have been able to wait very long on cigarettes (couple of hours max and I'd've been getting ratty and irritable). As it is, I've ended up not vaping at all today and still not feeling a craving. I wasn't vaping 0mg either.

It probably plays a part but it doesn't make me feel like I've had a cig it's just a substitute and I'm fine with that. It distracts me from smoking so for that reason alone I won't stop even if I can go through long periods in the day where I don't need it, it's always there.
