It is a great shame, I always enjoyed reading his posts... very informative with more than just a touch of humour, hope he does come back soon

Reason for leaving was:

The sudden deleting his account was a "I know if i do it this way it would stop drawing me back to the forum as it is final, kinda of a no backing solution"

He also hopes that his 3,000 posts has helped people in some way get of the stinkies (and that with his contributions has done a grand job, that's me saying that)

He has also said he will lurk the forum and maybe someday will come back.

Judging by the email without too much detail is that he needs a break and i cannot blame him, he has been a rock to this forum and he also apologizes too all members for not saying goodbye in the way he would of liked too and he gives his best wishes too all.

Well, at least it wasn't anything specific we did! He'll be missed greatly, but if he feels its for the best then I wish him all the best and he leaves with my thanks for all the help he has given to me and others since I joined, and beyond.

I know he finally had a set up he loved, so may he have many happy days vaping ahead if him.

If you get in touch with him again, please let him know how we all feel. It is so true how addictive a forum can become, especially this one, and even if we've got nothing to say we still come on and lurk.

You don't think he's won the lottery and dashing off to Barbados before we all send him begging letters do you?

I shall miss him. Such a shame. I can't see the point of burning your bridges though. If I didn't want to use a forum anymore I just wouldn't post.

Now I think of it, I am still a member of a couple of Australian forums I used everyday when I lived there. Haven't been there for at least 4yrs!

@chrissie. You would have good reason to feel the need for a break having to deal with all the politics and problems involved in running one.
