Hi there, I am new to these forums and to vaping. Just got a Innokin SVD and a Kanger AeroTank, I have some sample juices en route from ltecigs and joosejuice and I can't wait to try I did buy a few different flavours from Vanilla, coffee, blackcurrant, pineapple, marshmellow & banana, some are 50/50 and others 70/30 (PG/VG) and all are 18mg. As I have read some flavours can crack the polycarbonate tanks but the AeroTank is Pyrex so shouldn't be an issue. The main real question is to try them all what's the best way of switching flavours? Just washing out the tank and refilling or possibly changing the coil too for the more bizzare flavours? Any help would be most appreciated Regards Daveyboy

Well done on the switch and am jealous of your VTR - they are very good looking machines! I haven't had an aerotank, but I just tend to vape through changes of flavour - currently got a nice mix of vamp vape and H2OMG going on! I think that strong flavours like menthol or coffee deserve a clearo of their own as they tend to stick around for ages!
Someone else will be along with more experience of your tank.
Welcome to AAEC!

For strong flavours like the coffee, you'll probably need to change the coil when changing juice or you'll get a tainted flavour.
For cleaning, you can just take it apart and wash it. I leave my bits to soak for about an hour in hot water and washing up liquid, rinse it off and dry with kitchen roll then air dry for 24 hours - this includes the coil. You can just rinse everything out, but make sure the wick is completely dry before trying to use it again.
You may be better off getting a few tanks to let you have a few juices on the go.

With Joose Joose open the bottles and leave them to sit for a few days to steep]mix], if you use menthol use just one atty or they will all get a taste of mentol, its hard to shift it,just wash attys out ,leave to dry, dry burn,by a dripper that will help to to decide yup like it or yuk,now ith yuk some here may like it so maybe possible to sell or trade in classified

I rinse mine out in hot water - no washing-up liquid - dry with a paper towel and leave the head on the radiator overnight & put in a new head (or one off the radiator from last night).

Thanks you for the advice and the warm welcome I'd read through a few other threads about flavour changing but not read about the washing part (yet). I do think i'll probably buy a second tank but I can't wait to try the thing out! Thanks again for the advice it is most appreciated.

Hi and to AAEC! I second the suggestion of having more than one clearo - it means that you can switch between flavours easily, without going through the faff of changing coils every time you switch between flavours. I have dedicated tanks for menthol and absinthe flavours, because they're very strong and can be difficult to wash out.

Hi and welcome! - I have the same advice as above - wash out for most flavours, but I have a couple of tanks on the go and some spares as well. Gotta say, I have a cappo flavour but think that the tank that is in will be used for coffee flavours only (quite strong and dont think washing will work!)

Greetings daveyboy . I find the iclear16 a better clearomiser than a kanger product for coffee flavours as it gives a warmer vape and once I put a coffee type flavour in a tank I don't use it for anything else just coffee - of which there is a wide variety out there Enjoy your flavour tasting!

Thanks again for the welcomes, this place feels very friendly and I can't thank you all enough for the kind advice. I'm gonna give the AeroTank a go tonight/tomorrow (hopefully I'll have some juice by then). Thanks SpiceOfLife for the the recommendation of the different tank type for the coffee flavour, I'll look into that one Cheers Dave
