home made aniseed / liquorice concentrate

saw a thread on here bout somone steeping basil in vg to let it infuse so am trying it with crushd fennle seeds, possibly this stuff wont be a tank cracker cause its natural ingrediets, fennle tastes bang on the nose aniseed liquorice flavour

I myself would not mess around with natural ingredients as there may be oil or something along those lines in it, i leave messing around with ingredients with concentrates to the professionals.

i love cooking hahah and come across them at the back of the cupboard never been opend, been bang into my aniseed liquorice cinnamon vapes recently so thought all give them ago

what will happen if there is oil in the seeds?

am thinking in cooking they heat the seeds in a pan to release the oil so a think if you steep them maybe that womt happen, i have put some in water to see if any oil comes out of them

As far as i am aware oils is not good to vape, i maybe wrong but i don't fancy trying it

geordie_vaper - you give it a go and if your still here in say 3 years I will give it a go

Warm them through in a sparkly clean pan, steep in pg, then filter it half a dozen times through good kitchen roll. Bottle it and stand for a few days then see if there's any separation on the surface. If not, then I'd give it a go, if so then filter more till it's gone. It'd need a sweetener though IMO.

Why not just get 100ml from CCW for about 8 quid, i think I paid.

This sounds bang on, iirc when steeping tobacco leaves etc.. its best to use PG as it carries flaovur better.
It might even be worth warming the PG to help flavour transfer

It may work but my bet is on it failing, sorry geordie_vaper

also read this thread about steeping tobacco leaves, it should be a simiar(ish) process

people have been smoking oils for years if you pop over to amsterdam they smoke oils all the time and they seem very happy and healthy

This is totally different to vapourising
