Anybody know how long Capella's spearmint needs to steep for? I've had it steeping for 12 days and have got absolutely no flavour whatsoever it's as though I haven't put any concentrate in the mix. Mixed it at 20% and thought that would be sufficient I thought any mint flavours only took a few days steeping

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but it has absolutely no flavour at all, no matter how long you steep it for Toots.
Ended up shoving 10mls of concentrate into 10mls of mixed nic base . . . and still could barely taste it, plus what little flavour there was, dissipated in a couple of days.

OMG you gotta be kidding me Why the hell do they sell it if it has no flavour ??? Can anyone recommend a GOOD spearmint concentrate that DOES have some flavour to it then? I'm really p****d off now I was sooooo looking forward to trying out a spearmint one as I deffo don't like normal mint, but spearmint I do like. Thanks for the tip Perpetua (can't tag your name, it's not working)

Thanks for the tip Perpetua (can't tag your name, it's not working) YW Toots . . . it's the only Capella flavour I've been really disappointed in though. I use Health Cabin's Spearmint, really flavoursome that is . . . but it's probably not practical for you to buy from there. How about looking at Inawera, or one of the ranges known to be more potent? inawerashop.com/eflavour-spearmint-10-ml-p-323.html

I use TPA's Spearmint with a small amount of Bavarian Cream and it's lush :-)
I just mixed 5% Cap Peppermint with 5% TPA Bavarian Cream - Hoping Cap's Peppermint isn't the same as your spearmint.

I've got to get some lemon concentrate coz the lemon meringue pie one I've mixed I can't taste any lemon in it, only the pie bit - that was Capella's make as well so I'll get some spearmint at the same site as I buy the lemon from, also my friend wants a mix of berries or fruits of the forest (if I can find one) so I do need to get an order together for some more concentrates. Got some friends in the UK coming over in March, will have these delivered to their place, flippin nuisance though, no lemon in the lemon meringue pie and no spearmint in the er spearmint, what a balls up Thought I wouldn't go wrong by ordering Capella concentrates

I reckon part of it is down to our hammered taste buds though Toots . . . I also add extra Lemon to LMP, to be good for me. Capella's aren't the only ones I top up with flavour either on the mixed desserts type flavorings. But their Harvest Berries is lovely and great for me at 20%.

Yeah, I was wondering about their Harvest Berries for my friend, I could try it as well though berries are not normally something I would go for myself. You could be right about the taste buds being shot, however I have read some reviews now about Capella's lemon meringue pie and they do say it's lacking with the lemon flavour, so it's not just us that can't taste the lemon in it.

I think you'd like their Harvest Berries Toots . . . I can find no fault with it, which is rare. It's probably a combination of our taste buds and what we detect, plus these flavours were designed for food purposes so I guess we can't have everything spot on for vaping. I've got used to ' topping up ' now, to have it right for my tastes.

I mixed a small 5ml tester bottle of Capella's blueberry @ only 10% and left it for a number of weeks and it had loads and loads of flavour, and it went almost black in colour. Only problem was I didn't like it at all but my friend loved it so I made her up a 10ml bottle. Only reason I left it alone for weeks was because I didn't like it when I tried it I'm so glad my friend likes that flavour coz I'd never mix it again for myself

Thanks for the heads up Toots, was going to get some in my next order. I really like the Capella stuff so I'm a bit surprised tbh. Maybe try FlavourArt? I love their Peppermint @ 20% with a few drops of Menthol

I've had to add some Lemon to LMP from Capella too, so it's not just you! Inawera Lemon is really good, I still owe zeldamum a bottle which she kindly loaned me some time ago *note to self*
