capella caramel at 25% advice ?

well i tried my first mix of 25% capella caramel and its ok strength wise and it ok ish but not really caramelly and has a chemical taste.
i mixed it on 16/1/2014.
should I have steeped for longer or is it that capella caramel isnt like caramel.

what do you think and are other caramel's more like well caramel.

Taste is just so subjective Clive . . . personally I wouldn't use Capella's Caramel as a ' standalone ', it's better combined in with other flavours - I think.

If you'd like a nice single mix Caramel, Flavor West's Caramel Candy works well for me.
