I recently bought a 4 pack of liquids from vapology, this is the second lot I've bought from them and really I like their caramel flavour, however my new stuff is really irritating my throat, as soon as I inhale I'm coughing and spluttering. I know vapology's recommended PG/VG ratio is 60/40, which is what I went for both times. Prior to that I've had liquids from Tjuice which I think is 80/20 and hangsen which I think is also 80/20. I've never had this problem before. The only difference between the first and second lot of vapology juice is the nic level, my first batch was 18mg but the second one I decided to drop to 14mg. It's not just the caramel that's causing the irritation, I bought some rasberry and that's doing it too. I'm wondering whether it's caused in some way by the change in nic level though I can't imagine how. If I was sensitive to the higher VG ratio I would have expected to choke on the first lot too. I've found I can still use it provided I mix it at least 50/50 with something else, but I'm sad I can't use the caramel on its own without sharing it with anyone standing too close!

Sorry yo hear that tmg, must be frustrating and unpleasant. Have you got any other high VG content liquid to try by another manufacturer, to see if you've developed a sensitivity to it? If you haven't got a VG allergy, get in contact with them and explain the issue. If you're likely to be a repeat customer, they won't want to lose your business!

Mmm tough one, so different flavour's, could be the nic level, though I find a lower nic level makes it more bland. They may have changed suppliers of ingrediants?

Thanks for your replies, I think I'm going to contact vapology and tell them, I'm sure I used higher VG mix liquids in my first days of vaping, I had some from Joose juice which I'm fairly sure were 60/40 and I had no problems with that. As you say, maybe they've changed something, I could be one of many coughing my head off lol. I will report back when I get a response in case there are anymore victims on the forum. Thanks for helping me decide what to do.
