Hi Super Shiny, your mod is a lovely piece of work!
If you were not determined to use a metal casing, I would be able to make you some hardwood boxes with bespoke internal / external dimensions and in / out ports etc.

Where did you get the centerpinn connector for this project, because its a good ide to use that and not a 510 connector for the project.

and took the center pin and bolt from this and attached it to the above: e-steamer.com/diy/connectors-adapters/510-510-battery-atomizer-adapter-with-nut
