So all my stuff to start mixing is here but not sure what flavours I fancy,I know taste is subjective but does anyone have any faves?holding off buying red astair until my sample comes from smoke rainbow which could be a while but any other recommendations?

DV Doppio espresso & Capella vanilla custard are the only ones I use straight. After that I'm into recipes.

Look up Perpetua vanilla custard and Super-Shiny dutch apple pie and custard. These are the first recipes I tried yesterday

My advice would be just make up 3ml sample bottles of what you think you would like and go for it Leave em a couple of hours after a good shaking then test em with a dripper attie. That will give you some idea if you are on the right track. Note in my experience custard type flavours need a couple of weeks steeping to get any where near tasting right so if you test them too soon they will taste a bit bland.
