MVP2 - the best purchase I have ever made.

I have a fancy new iPhone 5 which has a ridiculously short battery life, an idiosyncratic (and expensive) charging cable (thank you Apple - I thought all phones now used micro USB) and today we had a red weather warning and a mid-afternoon power cut! I manage a service which supports vulnerable adults, some of whom live alone. I needed to ensure that service users had blankets, candles etc to hand and that lone working staff were OK, office phones were out and my iPhone was dying (I charged it last night, it was on full charge this morning and I hadn't used it much at all - pathetic!). MVP to the rescue!! It gave me enough charge to contact everyone I needed to contact. I usually have a charging cable at work and in the car but can't afford two extra cables (I did buy a couple of cheapish ones from Amazon but they don't work). If my hero hadn't come to my rescue today I would have had to drive all over the place to make sure everyone was OK. The best purchase I have ever made! Thank you, Innokin.

Up until your post I never saw the point in being able to charge a phone from a mod. Maybe the designers at Innokin aren't so stupid after all

I never get any phone calls that can't wait till I charge my phone though. If I needed my phone for work or something though it sounds like a good idea indeed

I've used it to charge my phone before but it was never that important. Most of the time I can find a landline or wait till later; I often don't have any signal anyway as I live in a blackspot. My sister in the middle of rural Tanzania has better reception than I do without a booster!!

I didn't think this feature would be useful but been a lifesaver few times now as my phone has been playing up... Dam you virgin and your two year contracts!
