I am really struggling on what strengths to use to make my juices - help required:
I made FW Guumi bear @20% stepped for 4 weeks and cant tast hardly anything. gonna try adjusting what i have left to 30% i made PA - cinnamon danish (20%) stepped for 4 weeks and cant taste hardly anything. gonna try adjusting what i have left to 30% I also made FW - butterscotch (20%) same thing upping to 30% story goes on Capella blueberry 15% nothing , maybe i didnt put any in lol. I even made afro dizziac at 15% and had to up to 20% but thats perfect now. Tried 10 joose juice premix and couldn't taste much from them either apart from menthol. oh chocolate fudge brownie at a high 25 % can taste but should have added sweetner. (generally used at 15%) made homemade menthol 5g to 20ml and used at 10% ok but not strong enough. been going by the general rule form here but clearly iam a weaky and need much stronger. so might go 50% more flavour than suggested in general , see how i get on.
problem is iam new to mixing and not found anything I like or can taste apart from afro I basically wasting most of what ive made or just vaping not to waste it all.
Does anyone else have simular issues? any thoughts. (not vapours tongue ive had that)
just buying a large batch of cons but no idea what strenths to use. (flavours on other post - (idea's on list of concentrates to mix combinations) any strenth idea's on them welcome

clivealive1 in my first batch i used 2.5mil of flavor (this was for a 10 mil bottle) and it seemed to do the trick for me just add more flavor to it its a thing where its to taste of what people like i can get the flavor right its just everything else i can not do with it lol

(flavours on other post - (idea's on list of concentrates to mix combinations) any strenth idea's on them welcome I tend to do most fruits at 20% have you tried red Astaire ? For me 20% is perfect ( can't stand Afro ! Just shows how subjective taste is ! I found it dry ? T juice strawberri is nice ! Made all tjuice at 20% with exception of tobaccos as advised @ 15% ! That seemed high as most tabacois are under5% still steeping so no verdict yet ! I find flavour art not as strong as tjuice although their raspberry was tasty at 20% and weak @ 15 Made green steam and Forrest affair but not that nice really ! I tend to stick with red Astaire ! The tabacois for a friend Gosh you must have spent a bomb on all those concentrates ! I spent a fortune on ready made when I started ! Glad I've found my all day vape ! And even more happy I make it as I can use up to 10ml a day in a iclear30s imagine paying 5.95 a day on red !!!

clivealive1What PG/VG ratio are you mixing at? (and I assume you are using syringes to measure and not drops)

You can't hope to get it right immediately Clive, unless you're very lucky . . . what I or anyone else think is a strong flavour and requires x%, you may find the exact opposite and vice versa.
All any of us can do is give guidance on percentages, it's up to you and anyone else to then tweak those percentages to your personal and individual tastes.
And make sure you record those adjustments, so you know for next time.
It does get easier over time, once you've got a feel for your flavourings and what suits you, which there is no shortcut to, other than trial and error . . . . .

There's not an easy answer, as frustrating as it is Clive . . . you won't like this, but before plunging in and buying a shed load of more concentrates to stress about percentages. I'd perfect 3 or 4 mixes to your personal tastes with what you currently have. Then broaden your mixing horizons. But you won't.

I've used 30% on joosejuice stuff before for fruits.. Anything I don't like I put some menthol, lime, red astaire or forest affair in to make it more interesting.

Can't believe that your 20% mixes have no flavour at all Are you using a calculator to work out the recipe? I use at most 25% flavours (using a blend, not one single flavour), and even with my shot tastebuds, get something which is good and strong without being over the top. What nic base are you using? Just wondering if you might have mis-calculated and have got a load of weaker mixes by accident . . .

I use the normal calc e juice me up,
butterscotch 20% Flavour 20% 10 ML (70-30) FLAVOUR WEST Nicotine Strength PG 72mg Target Nicotine Strength 12mg Amount to Make10ml
RESULT Nicotine 1.67 ml 16.7%
PG 70% 3.3ml 33.3 %
VG 30% 3ml 30%
flavour 2 ml 20%
gives me a tiny tiny tiny bit of taste, sometimes i put a juice in my iclear30 and a juice in my 30s and unless i wrote it down i cant tell the difference and defo couldnt tell u what it was.
